"I am not going anywhere. And there is no way I am going on that thing. I don't even know where it's going to take me or if it's safe?!" Daniel just rolled his eyes at me. It seemed he had dealt with this more than once. I wanted to convince him that I wasn't going on his heal pool portal. But just then when I was about to say something he suddenly pushed me on to that thing. I stubbled on it realized and turned around to give Daniel a piece if my mind, but at that moment I saw the room shift. I remembered what Daniel said and squeezed my arms to my sides but before I closed my eyes I shot him an angry glare. Everything around me got colder by the second. Then the ground was gone, I was floating, but it didn't feel as pleasant as the floating feeling you get underwater. I could feel an especially cold sensation coming from my chest, right above my heart, but I dared not open my eyes. It wasn't till a few minutes later that I knew what was going on. I, or more so my body, was dematerializing. Ok, don't panic I thought. I tried to calm down but the fear started to swell up in my stomach that was starting to disappear into nothing. It was the scariest experience I had ever made. A shiver went down my non-existent spine and I feared I would end here, alone in the cold, dark unknown, fully aware of how I faded out of existence.
But then, as I myself was almost gone, I felt a pull and the temperature changed. It was getting warmer. Then suddenly I felt the ground beneath my feet again. I opened my eyes. I was on the train again. I sighed in relief, touching, feeling my arms, my legs. I was never so happy about my Body. Then I lifted my gaze. Daniel was leaning against the wall, smirking. "That wasn't so bad, now was it?" he said. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, DANIEL?" I shouted at him. "I freaking love it" he laughed. "It's always fun with the new ones," he said more to himself. "Oh, I'm sorry. Is almost passing away by dematerializing a joke to you? Are you like Immortal or something that you can just toy with 'us' mortals?" I snapped. "You could say that" was his only reply. Now I was speechless. "Alright then, now that that's established, follow me". Honestly fuck that guy was my only thought. And that's when I decided to go exploring. Own my own. This is going to be great I thought to myself.
