Perri was sleeping peacefully in his bed suddenly he started tossing and turning as a dark nightmare haunted his dreams he sat up covered in sweat and breathing heavily, taking some deep breaths he started to calm down before walking out onto the balcony into the cool night air. Perri sat down on the ledge of his balcony and started playing with a rune stone his mother had given him many years ago, he was so lost in his own thoughts that he hadn't noticed the female elf who had climbed up onto his balcony, softly she said 'That stone in your hand what is it'.
Perri jumped slightly before saying 'It is a talisman a powerful spell lies upon it, if any but a protector read the runes they'll be forever cursed' the female elf stepped back abit, Perri stood up and smiled before saying 'Or not it depends whether you believe that sort of thing, it's just a token a rune stone. My mother gave it to me so i'd remember my promise'. The female elf softly replied 'What promise is that' Perri looked up at the stars and said 'That I would come back to her, she worries she thinks I'm reckless', the female elf smiled and replied 'And are you' Perri laughed slightly and said 'Nah, I'm Perri by the way'.
The female elf smiled before saying 'I'm Tauriel, I'm the captain of the guard' Perri looked over at the woods where all the lights were coming from and said 'Sounds like quite a party your having over there' Tauriel smiled and said 'It is Starleons eve, a feast of starlight. All light is sacred to the Elves but what we love best is the light of the stars'.

Meanwhile in the North Sanctuary Eric and the dwarves were just preparing to leave their campsite and carry on towards Rivendell but as they were about to leave Gus noticed that Roselen was missing, so everyone split up to try and find her. Gus ran through the tree's as fast as his legs would carry him until he caught sight of Ravenna's brother Finn about to stab Roselen, he picked up his bow and shot an arrow at Finn which went through the palm of his hand smiling he watched as Finn ran off and as Gus took a step forward towards Roselen he felt a sharp pain in his chest.
Looking down he saw a think black arrow sticking out of his chest, Roselen ran over to him and caught him in her arms Roselen took a deep breath and said 'Gus breathe just breathe'. Gus looked up at Roselen and said 'I won't leave you miss' the other dwarves ran into the clearing just as Gus took his last breathe Roselen looked up at the others and burst into tears, following Gus's death the everyone made the decision to spend one more night in the North Sanctuary.
And as the darkness covered the sky the dwarves placed Gus's body on a pire of wood and set it on fire Gort looked up and said 'We used to have such pride and now we just pilfer, drink and dream about what we used to be. Every man here would die for the chance of becoming that man again, so we follow you Princess in life and also in death. And we shall have our pride again, On Gus's sword I swear it'.
