Autumn was beginning to beset. Temperatures were beginning to shift out of sweltering heat, and were hitting a comfortable briskness. Leaves began falling from the tress, wild landscapes being painted with browns, oranges, yellows, and greens.
With the scerene aesthetic coming into place, and the weather was cozy, Shin decided that now was the best time to enjoy the wilderness just outside of Osaka. You trekked together off into the forest, toting a tent kit while the feline carried his books and a camera. After some time of walking, leaves crunching under your steps, you found a nice little spot to set up camp. The tent was no issue, and soon enough your site-for-two was complete.
"Phew... so.... what to do now?" You exhaled and asked Shin.
The feline was blanking for a moment, dazing off as he stared into the thickness of the environment. He always had a peculiar interest in nature; he loved art, and considered scenic natural views to be a form.
He'd usually satisfy his tree-hugging side by resting on a thick branch upon the lone tree in his backyard back in Minasato. Never had he really gone into the woods he so admired, frightful of his asthma.
You fell to be in a blank too, staring at him and thinking over. Time had paused. There was a deafening silence. Your view felt like a static image. Just Shin staring to the side, with the beauty of nature encompassing him. It was a work of art beyond the likes of anything you'd ever seen.
"...I... I'm not... sure..." Shin's sudden, late, and hesitant response resumed time.
He was still looking due right in a trance-like stiffness. His eyes seemed to glimmer, in a strange array of emotional distress. He was bothered.
"...Hey... Shin?" You spoke softly, inching a step forward and setting a hand delicately on his shoulder.
His muscles were stiff, but upon contact, seemed to deflate. He exhaled relief, shutting his eyes for a moment. He turned his direction towards you, glimmers in his yellow eyes.
"Oh... Terra. I'm... I'm just... at a loss. E-Everything... everything is just so... gorgeous." A blush arose on his cheeks, and a faint, sensitive smile grew.
You didn't have words to respond with. Thinking on it, you agreed with his statement. The serenity of nature, his company, the entire world was stunningly heavenly.
You locked hands with Shin, standing close. His silky fur brought esctacy to your palm. His mesmerizing yellow eyes beamed into yours. Those eyes... they carried his essence. His gentleness. His fragility. His love. His sorrow. His passions. His fears. It was like a mirror into his soul - Shin's ineffably beautiful soul.
Everything else seemed to deconstruct. The world itself was gone. No more pain. No more hardship and stress. Just these magnificent woods. Just you. Just your boyfriend.
Your heart ached. An intense, fizzling feeling sputtered in your chest. Your cheeks grew warm. Bliss surged through your mind. You moved forward automatically.
His eyes softly closed, and yours did too. No sight was needed for this, the vision remained. Your lips met their counterparts. It was an exchange of a deep, passionate kiss. Warmth surged through your body, hot shared breath vaporizing like a cloud. It was a moment of pure euphoria.
The bliss, the pleasure of a kiss, slowly drew to a close. Your lips and his said farewell for now, and you drew yourself back. Your eyes opened back up and rejoiced in sight again, witnessing the combined beauty of Shin and the forest. Those yellow eyes locked to yours once more.
"I love you..." softly left the cat's lips.
This camping trip was going to be magnificent.
