Kirishima's POV

After Bakugo reminded me of Mr. Aizawa's quirk test, I had an idea, don't look at me like that I have good ideas, to make more than just macaroons for Bakugo. Seeing as he likes spicy foods I was thinking about making salt and pepper caramel squares (it's a real thing I just looked it up), conveniently my mom always made me caramel squares when I was having a bad day in elementary school and even now, well before I moved into the dorms. So because of this, she taught me how to make them for whenever I'm having a bad day and she isn't there to help cheer me up. After lunch the day pretty much went by fast, and before I knew it Bakugo and I were walking back to the Heights Alliance dorms. We were walking in silence, well I was still thinking if there were ingredients in the kitchen to make the caramel squares, but the silence felt kinda awkward. I'm guessing Bakugo felt the same way because out of nowhere I hear, "Oi! Shitty Hair! Say something damit, this silence is fucking annoying!" He said sternly startling me. "Oh. Sorry Bakugo, I was thinking about if they had ingredients in the kitchen for something I want to bake." His face showed obvious confusion "I thought you were gonna make those maca-whatevers?" I laughed a little inside at his expression "Well I want to make something else as a surprise! But I will still be making macaroons, so don't worry Bro!" I said with a wide toothy smile. "If it's a surprise then why tell me that you're doing something as a surprise? AND I'M NOT FUCKING WORRIED ABOUT SHIT, DAMN SHITTY HAIR!?" I laughed at his angry explosive response, when his mind registers my last sentence. We soon arrive back at the dorms Bakugo goes to his room to get started with studying I guess and I start with the macaroons so that when I put them in the oven I can start with the caramel squares, and I guess everyone was wondering who was in the kitchen because I soon see other students' heads peak into the kitchen. "Uhm.....can I help you guys?" I asked because the were staring at me kinda robotic like. "What are you doing in the kitchen Kirishima-kun?" Asu- I mean Tsu-chan said, it's still weird to call her Tsu-chan. "Oh! I'm baking sweets for when Bakugo and I study together for the Chemistry test and for Aizawa Sensei's written quirk analysis test!" They all kinda looked shocked when I said I was baking, well except Mina 'cause me and her know each other from junior high. "Wait for Kacchan too? But Kacchan doesn't like sweets?" Midoriya said kinda confused "I know, but I had made him some macaroons the other day and when I asked him to help me study he told me that he would help me study but only if I made macaroons." "But it also smells like you're making caramel with.....pepper?" Sato-kun said clearly confused "Well y'see I know that Bakugo likes spicy things so I decided to make him some salt and pepper caramel squares. When I was young my mom always loved to bake so she taught me a lot of stuff about baking, and my favorite thing she would make for me is caramel squares so before I moved into the dorms she taught me how to make them. So I decided to put my skills to the test!" As I finished that sentence, the oven started beeping signaling that the macaroons were done. I took the tray of hot sweets out of the oven and onto the counter to cool down, I looked to everyone and said kindly "Now I worked hard on these, I can make you guys some later so please don't try to take some while my back is turned, that's totally not manly." "Don't worry Kirishima-kun! We won't let anything happen to them!" Uraraka-san said with a kind and determined face. After that, I had finished making the caramel squares and the macaroons have finished cooling down, so I put the macaroons on a large plate and put the caramel squares (which were individually wrapped in plastic wrap) in a little bag and slipped it in my pocket to give him as a surprise. As I got to his room I can hear him say agitatedly through the door "What is taking that damn Shitty Hair so long." "Nice to know you care Bakugo!" I say opening his door and walking in with the plate of macaroons. Bakugo inspects the plate as I set it down on the coffee table in his room. "Didn't you say you were gonna make something else as a surprise or something Shitty Hair?" "Yea but it didn't turn out right so I'll make it another time I guess." I lied hoping that he couldn't tell that I was lying. "Damn must've been disappointing that it didn't turn out well wasn't it?" He said believing my lie "Yea I was super bummed, I was super excited too." We started studying and we took a break halfway through our study session, and Bakugo went to use the bathroom so I took this opportunity to slip the bag of caramel squares into his pencil bag, so when he needs to get something out of it he will see the caramel that I had made for him. Soon enough he comes out of his bathroom and sits down and we talked a little before getting back to studying. A little later and his lead pencil ran out of lead so when he reached in his pencil bag to get the spare lead I saw his confused face and knew that he touched the bag of caramel. When he took the bag out of his pencil bag, he immediately looked at me "What the hell is this?" I laughed a little "Surprise! Since I knew you like spicy things I made you salt and pepper caramel squares!" His cheeks grew a little dust of pink on them. 'He's kinda cute when he blushes. WAIT WHAT THE HECK AM I THINKING!! I don't have a crush on Bakugo....do I?' "Thanks...I guess" Bakugo said snapping me out of my thoughts "No problem! Try one and tell me what you think about them." I said flashing a bright smile.
