The Ship

I had awoken up from my sleep and was currently getting out of bed and stretching. Obviously, I was feeling better...A lot. Who knew some sleep could cure a fever? Well, whatever...Now, I needed to find Star and Shiela who are....

I looked over. "On the beds..." I finsihed out loud. I guess they were just resting but they didn't look too good. So I walked over to Shiela and placed my hands on our forehead. She was burning up! Whoops...I guess I gave her a fever....

I checked Star. Oh she had one too! "Nice job Payton!" I said sarcastically as I hit myself.

"What's the matter Miss Payton?" I heard someone say.

Wait...Miss Payton? Only one guy would call me that....I turned myself toward the steps, and of course, there was Ryo standing there with one hand in his pocket. I glared at him as he walked toward me. "You seem stress."

I took one huge step away from him. "Shiela and Star have a fever is all." I told him. "Now if you'll excuse me...I'm going to get something to eat." But as I tried to pass him, Ryo blocked my way.

"If you don't mind, I took the liberty in ordering you something." He said, nodding toward the bar.

I sighed and my shoulders slumped. "I only wanted an apple..." I said.

Ryo smirked. "Well you got some pancakes with syrup and orange juice..." He then frowned. "Is that okay?"

I shrugged and took a quick glance at Star and Shiela. "I'm pretty sure those two will appreciate it." I told him. I looked back at him and smiled innocently.

Ryo sighed. "If the princess wishes it."

Princess?! I gasped, then gave him an annoyed look. "Look Ryo...I am just Payton. You don't have to call me "Miss" or "Princess" just Payton."

Ryo seemed hurt. "But all lovely ladies like you deserve to be called that." He protested quietly.

I rolled my eyes. "I'll be getting that apple now." I said. He walked over to the railing and then climbed up on top and balanced myself on it.

Ryo gasped and held out his hand. "Miss Payton you'll hurt-" I ignored him and jumped off. "Yourself..." He ran to the edge and peered down.

I landed on my feet without hurting myself. I smiled and then stood up before looking up at Ryo. I saw his surprised expression, but I just laughed to myself and approached the bar. "I just want an apple." I told the man.

The man laughed a bit then tossed me a bright red apple. I caught it and then bit into it. "Thanks." I said before deciding to explore the ship.

I saw that there were less people on now...Probably about ten more left. While I was sleeping, I could tell that Jax had dropped them all off to their families.

Speaking of Jax, I wonder what he's up to? I'll go visit him...I have nothing better to do, (well maybe take care of Star and Shiela but I don't wanna disturb them) so Jax it is!

I headed down the elevator and bit into my apple. As I chewed, the door slid back opened and I ventured into the hall. I only saw three people in a circle talking to each other. There weren't as many people anymore...I knew that Jax must have dropped them off while I was sleeping.

I made it to the end of the hall where Jax was hiding. So as I bit into my apple again I knocked on the door to let him know I was coming, then I let myself inside.

This was where the pilot would be. It was a pretty small area, and I had to duck down so I wouldn't hit my head on any buttons that were above me. A large seat was placed in the middle, and in front of that seat was a load of buttons and I didn't understand any of them besides the big "Auto-Pilot" button in big red letters in the middle.
