My next sentence would decide my fate in an instance.

"Well. . ." I pause before speaking again, slowly.

"I don't know who she was. It was a really rushed process so she didn't tell me much. All she did say to watch out for Tesus." I didn't know any god or goddess in this world except one, so I may as well use him to prove how harmless I am. Though it looked like what he said about being unpopular was true for the tension in the room seemed to have lifted with relief when I said I was summoned to go against him.

The woman smiled at me sincerely. "Oh, Thank Otharis- You really aren't a threat then!"

"I've been saying that from the start." Came my blunt and annoyed sounding reply. You couldn't blame me though. I've been thrown into one life or death situation after another. The attitude of the people around me did a 180 flip and they seemed eager to show me around despite trying to execute me literal seconds before. It's pissing me off.

I didn't feel safe around them so before they could get too crowded around me I shuffled over beside the blue-eyed beauty. "I'd feel more comfortable if the lady over here were to be my guide." I bellowed stiffly, glowering lightly as the men all whispered objections but let me be. It seemed the woman was surprised by my proclamation, her eyes looked at me with such incredulity and wonder. It looks like it was true that men and women were probably treated oppositely in this world, at least more so than it was back on earth.

"I-I-I'll show you to the throne r-room! The rest of the h-heros should be i-in there too. . !" She mused, seeming more childish by the second as her face lit up red despite her somewhat refined first impression. 'How old is she even? All I can really see is her eyes. . .' It was coaxing to pull her hood off to see her face but I decide otherwise. I didn't want to make her irritated when she could probably curse me or something like that.

We stepped out of the stone room after the guards had moved away from the door, and immediately it got much darker. Rather than the sphere of light, it seemed the Stoney hallway was lined with torches instead. They did a poor job of helping me see so I had to stick close to the girl as she guided us to the throne room I assumed. Well, while here I should ask some questions, right?

"Hey. This world is Bulara, right? And I'm in the Eastern Kingdom of Silrin?"

She looked back at me before seeming to smile. "Western Kingdom actually. I assume you know this from the god that summoned you, right?" I nod my head and clear my throat a bit, looking around in disinterested.

But honestly? This place was so fucking cool! It was like a dungeon. I was really in another world now. . . It was unimaginable! I couldn't let anyone know I was this excited though, they would think I was some naive child or something. I'm nineteen already, I don't want people seeing me as a kid. ". . . Do I have any magic?" Surely I had to have some form of sorcery in this world, right? Tesus gave me his crest after all so it has to come with some nice stats.

However, the mage couldn't seem to answer me. She's struggling to say something from the way she would hum, though eventually gives up on figuring out reply. "I'm not sure. . . We will find out soon enough so don't fret! We'll be using the assessment crystal to check all the heros' statistics, including yours." That sounded interesting, but I remained straight-faced as to not give it away.

We had eventually left the dark hallway, heading up to what appeared to be the main floors of the castle. It was immense and truly a place where royalty resided. The windows were wide and the glass panels were stained a pretty pale yellow. There were many doors that no doubt leads to many rooms within the structure and the corridors seemed to stretch on forever. It felt like it would take a long time to reach my destination, so to pass the time I and the mage spoke quite a bit about the world.
