Yuki was sitting in a church. In the front of the room was a coffin. Yuki was in the room alone. No one was there. The priest allowed Yuki to sit there for a few minutes.
"Mum, what am I meant to do now? Our dream.... to meet dad. How can I? I'm only 7. Mum? Please help me," sobbed Yuki. The priest walked in.
"Excuse me, Mr Dreyar, but we need to take Miss Riki away now," said the priest. The priest felt bad, since he was close to the mother and son since they were neighbours. He knew how much Yuki loved his mother and wanted to meet his father with his mother. He wanted Elaine to be alive as much as Yuki wanted to.
"O-Okay, Uncle Ren," sniffed Yuki. He got up and walked to his mother's coffin. He hugged it and whispered a goodbye. He walked passed Ren and left the church. He sprinted home and shutted his door. He slid down the door and screamed in pain. Tears of agony dribbled down his cheeks. His throat hurt from crying and screaming. The spot he sat, was the place he slept all night.
"Mummy?" asked a 3 year old Yuki.
"Yes Yuki?" asked Elaine as she tied her brown hair in a pony tail.
"What is daddy like?" asked Yuki. Elaine faked to thought about what Laxus was like. She smiled and lifted Yuki up on the kitchen counter. She gave him is bottle of orange juice.
"Well he was a meany when I first met him but once we got to know each other and fell in love, he was much kinda and happy," said Elaine.
"Am I like him?" asked Yuki. Blue eyes locked with blue eyes
"Well you have his looks but my hair and eye colour. You also have the same magic as him. Lightning," said Elaine. She lifted him off the counter and up to his room.
"Mummy, when can I meet him?" asked Yuki as Elaine helped him get into his pyjamas.
"One day. Lets make it our dream. Go and find your father together," smiled Elaine as she put Yuki into bed.
"Promise?" asked Yuki. Elaine smiled and tucked him in. She kissed his forehead.
"I promise Yuki," smiled Elaine. Yuki smiled and snuggled up into his dragon plush before listening to his mother singing a lullaby to him.
Yuki woke up on the floor. He sniffed and got up. He went into the bathroom and had a shower. He didn't bother looking at his reflection since he knew he was going to look terrible. He got changed into a plain blue shirt and black shorts. He brushed his teeth and looked at his reflection. He was right. He did look terrible. He sighed and went downstairs. He looked at the calendar. His eyes widened in realisation.
"We were going to travel, today. To find dad," said Yuki. He tooked a deep breath. He legged upstairs and grabbed his bag. He packed his clothes, some rope, some money that he's been saving and some from his mother's purse, some food and water, and a tent. He put his shoes on and locked the door. He went to Ren's house and slide the keys in the mail box with a note. He ran out of the town and into the woods, because where he lives, there is no train station.
{After a few hours}.
Yuki was climbing some trees. He was lost in the woods. Once he got as high as he could, he looked around. He could see a town nearby. He smirked and climbed down. He picked up his bag and ran to the town. He saw people walking around the streets. He gulped and asked people what town was Fairy Tail in but no one even battered an eyelid at him. He still didn't gave up.
"Ne Yu-kun, where are we going?" asked his new pet cat.
"Huh, oh Kurama. We're going to Magnolia to find my dad," said Yuki.
