It was the night before the wedding and Callum was at the flat with his brother, a few lads from the army and his parents...
Callums mind was anywhere but the party....
The door went and his mum got the door....
Ben stood there with tears in his eyes..
Joanna was shocked at the state the lad was in..
Ben looked at her " are you able to get Callum for me"
Joanna nods" off course" she disappeared for a moment and there returned with her son
Callum looked at Ben and his heart broke
Ben looked up from the floor and locked eyes with Callum. " I just came to say good luck for tomorrow" a couple of tears escaped from Ben's eyes.
Callums heart broke a little more... he softly reached forward and wiped the tears from Ben's face... Callum felt tears form in his own eyes and pulled Ben close and wrapped his eyes around him and held him tightly...
Ben wrapped his arms around the taller man and buried his head within his chest and sobbed quietly.....
Joanna watched on as both men held each other tightly.... and knew automatically that something wasn't right...
After holding each other for a while both men calmed down a little and ben lifted his head a looked up at the man that he had fallen in love with...
Callum kissed Ben's forehead with tears falling from his own eyes" I don't want to say goodbye... I don't want this to stop.."
Ben closed his eyes half to stop the tears and half to make a mental note of how callums lips felt of his head..." I know.. I don't want the goodbye either... and I never wanted this to stop... but we haven't got a choice anymore... we both know that..."
Callum knew Ben was right... he leant forward placing his forehead against Ben's... forgetting his mother was stood next to them" if only things were different... if only I had the strength to fight against him..."
Ben pulled Callum closer " this isn't your fault... don't blame yourself... this is him.. this is all him.."
Callum pulls away slightly locking eyes with ben..."I know...I love you so much"
Ben smiled a little" I love you two cal, more than anything"
Callum leaned down and pressed his lips upon bens
Callums brother older brother Alex joined them and stood next to their mother, joanna and Alex looked at each other and then back at the boys
Ben closes his eyes and kissed Callum back
Callum pulled away locking eyes with ben again, " meet me at the achers in an hour"
Ben softens his eyes a little and nods
Calum places his forehead upon bens again" I don't want to do it here, I want you in my arms a little longer, I want you in my arms when we break"
Ben lets a few more tears fall" ill be there"
Jonno's laughter from the other room, made them jump and let go of each other, which told joanna and Alex everything they needed to know, ben looked at Callum once more before walking out, Callum tried to calm himself down and stop the tears,
Alex places his hand on his baby bothers shoulder" talk to me"
Callum shook his head" I cant"
Alex nods" yes you can, the wedding, whit, you never wanted this did you"
Callum shook his head again" no...he is what I wanted and still is what I want"
