Number 12, Grimmauld Place
Once we arrived on the quiet street, I realized we were standing in front of an apartment complex. It was made of dark bricks and the building seemed to be very old in general, the black gate that circled around the building was rusted and some parts of the metal were bent in. Professor Moody tapped his cane on the concrete quietly, which caused the building to expand, opening up a freed space in the middle of the complex. The No - Maj's around us in the other apartments would have never seen the new space in the middle of the building, as it was masked with magic.
The location was truly discreet.
The girl with fiery red hair watched my face as I began smiling, astonished at the sight I was seeing. It was hidden quite well.
"It's covered with the Fidelius Charm," She smirked while placing her broom to her side. I mounted off of mine and continued to survey the building, it was old and rustic on the outside, hidden well within a No - Maj neighborhood, hopefully the inside is cleaner than the outside. "This is the ancestral home of the Black family." My eyes followed the girl as she opened the dark gate, it creaked loudly, making a loud echo against the walls.
"Bloody gate." Professor Moody snorted and pushed it open all the way, causing even more of a disruption. He instructed me to follow behind him as he opened the door, and followed me were all the rest. The hallway was small and grey, filled with lots of pictures on the walls, and at the end of the hall were a large group of more people I've never met sitting at an old dark dining table. Their eyes landed on us as we made our way through the hall and into the room.
"Oh! Lucy!" A woman to my left with bright red hair grabbed me and pulled me in for a tight and unexpected hug. I smiled, returning it back to the stranger. She pulled away and left her hands on my shoulders, grinning at me widely. "My apologies. I know you don't know who I am but I've heard such wonderful things about you through my children." She hugged me once more, I studied her facial features and her red hair.
"Oh! You're Ron's mother? And Ginny's, and Fred - " I was cut off with an eye roll from her and the wave of her hand in my face.
"Yes! My many, many children, all of them are mine. All of us Weasley's turned out with red hair! Quite funny isn't that?" Her bubbly personality had lifted the weight in the room, she was shorter than all of her children, except Ginny, who was still a tad bit shorter. I was a little over her height, but I wasn't very tall for starters either. I smiled back at her comment of her many kids, it was true, I heard that there were two more as well.
Mrs. Weasley pulled away from me and I was greeted from across the dining table by another older man with bright red hair. "Mr. Weasley, nice to meet you." He said holding his hand out, I nodded accepting his shake. A few more introductions happened after this and there was still no sign of Harry. I saw stairs, maybe he is up there.
"He's with Ron and Hermione." A man with black curly hair and dark facial features smiled at me, taking my hand and gently kissing the top of it. One thing I've noticed so far is that everyone here is extremely friendly. He let go of my hand and instructed me to sit in the chair in front of him, I did as I was told as the girl with fiery red hair, Mad Eye and the others placed themselves down next to me on the chairs circling the dark beat up wood. The table now being full. "My name is Sirius, it's nice to meet you, Lucy."
"I've heard good things about you, it's nice to meet you too." I said with impatience, if Harry was upstairs I desperately wanted to run up there into whatever room he was in. I was a nervous wreck as I began thinking about him, I wrote him a letter months ago and never heard anything. Either he hasn't forgive me, or I'm hoping, he just never received the letter.
