Friends at hogwarts

Chapter 8: Train boarding

The whistle blows as a man yells "all aboard to hogwarts, final warning!" A hoard of children start to board the train as parents give them one last hug before they depart from eachother. It makes me think back to Tilly and how much happier i was last night with Snape and Hagrid, despite how much they seem to despise another.

I board the Hogwarts express and take my first real step into the new school year. The train presents me with carriages upon carriages and i'm left wondering which one i should step into. A loud bang comes from within a carriage and smoke fogs up the rest of the train. No one seems dazed in fact a nearby group of students laugh but i jump up out of fright. Two identical ginger headed boys walk out of that carriage with a large smile stapled across their faces while laughing mischievously.

"I'm Fred."
"And i'm George."
The boys tell me, however i won't be able to tell them apart in the future.
"Can we interest you in some food?" Fred says.
"why are you worrying about you-know-who? You should be worrying about u-no-poo. The constipation sensation that's gripping the nation!" George adds.
"Who's you know who?" I inquire.
The boys look me up and down in shock when i say that and then widen their eyes when they realise something. "Nevermind. Maybe you should ask dumbledore one day. But we're going to head off now. See you around!" The twins say in unison.

I leave them and wander off to a further carriage to find a place where i can sit down and think about this 'you know who'. I see a familiar face, the girl who helped me cross the wall was sitting down besides Emily, Phoebe and one other girl. They're mid conversation as a i walk towards them but they stop abruptly as i enter the carriage. "I'm sorry to bother you but may i sit here? You're the only people i know here." Their faces lit up and the kind girl says to me, "Of course you can sit here! I'm sorry i totally forgot to say my name when you saw me earlier at the train station wall, i'm Talia. I hear you already know Emily and Phoebe but that girl there is Abby". Abby smiled and waved at me. Talia carries on talking. "We have more friends coming later and i can't wait for you to meet them."

After two minutes the carriage door slides open and reveals a boy with white blonde hair followed closely by a girl with bronze hair.
"Sophie!" He whips at me with his voice. "I've heard so much about you, come sit with us. You'll learn that some people are better than others." The girl besides him winces as he says that but stays resilient in looking mean.

"Fuck off Draco." Emily snaps aggressively as she slams the carriage door in his face. "Sorry about that." Phoebe continues.
"You'll learn to ignore him." Abby adds. However i notice that Talia says nothing.
