'Cause girl, you make it so hard to get over you, you say it's for the best but I won't let you go.' Three Reality's song, "let you go", played on the radio on my way to school. I reached out and turned it up. I had the song playing so loud, I was sure the silver Nissan next to me could hear it. Honk. The white Toyota on my left brought me out of my thoughts. I guess I should pay attention to the road. I swerved quickly. I almost missed my turn. 'I can't get you outta my head, please, baby give me another chance, cause girl you make it so hard to get over you, you say it's for the best but I won't let you go.' The song ended. I couldn't help but smile. Their music just always made my day, which was the reason I listened to it before school. I pulled into the parking lot of Ridgeview High. It was halfway through my junior year, and I couldn't wait for summer. I checked my hair and makeup in my mirror. I readjusted the bobby pins holding my bangs out of my face. I reached out and pulled the key out of the ignition. With the other keys on the ring (for my jeep, house, and best friend Holly's house) it made a clinking sound when I got them. I quickly grabbed my brown messenger bag from the passenger seat and opened the door. The cold wind whipped the not put up, brown hair into my face. I fixed it, and saw Holly by the school doors. She waved to me as I closed the door to my red grand jeep Cherokee. With my keys still in hand, I locked it and then threw them in my bag. Now there was a jingling sound when I walked. I ran over to Holly and she hugged me.

"Hi Carmen! Did you finish reading your book for Language Arts?" She asked with a tone that sounded like she didn't.

"Well, yeah I read Of Mice and Men." I had actually forgotten all about it, since I finished reading so early.

"What did you read, or did you even read?"

"I might of." She replied, which meant no.

"Holly...she'll kill you! This is the fifth time you didn't read."

"I know! It's just; you know I don't like reading." She half whined.

She looked at me with bright blue eyes. I knew what she wanted.

"Fine!" I finally said.

"Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" She jumped up and down like she was a little kid.

"Yeah, yeah...." I said tiredly, but with a smile. "Okay, say you read Romeo and Juliet. Basically, Romeo crashes Juliet's party, Tybalt gets mad, challenges Romeo to a duel after Romeo and Juliet secretly get married, Mercutio dies by Tybalt's hand...Are you getting this?"

Holly looks up from her hand; which is now covered with notes, and looks at me as to say 'go on'. I sighed, but laughed.

"Okay, Romeo is so consumed with revenge, that he kills Tybalt. He gets banished, and Juliet finds out and goes after him, and we all know the end..."

Holly looks at me confused. "Uh? True love conquers all?"

I laugh again. "No." I said slowly. "Well, it's kind of depressing; they both kill themselves because of the other one."

"Whoa, why?" she asked eagerly.

"They have a feud between their families, you know? The Capulet's and the Montague's, but that's not exactly why..."

'Ring, ring!' Before I got a chance to tell her, the bell rang. I mouthed the word 'sorry' and went to class. The music played in my head, 'I can love you better, he doesn't even know your name, stop chasing after him, when I've been here the whole time.' I sighed; it was just too hard to concentrate on school right now. I had one of Three Reality's songs stuck in my head. It was a particular part, though-Logan's part. Just the thought of his name made me smile. You see, most girls like Logan because of his beautiful green eyes. That was like, what he was known for (well also the band, and the fact that he's a celebrity). If you ask me, though, I would say 'I love the way he throws his head back when he laughs, and that he does the same thing when he hits a high note in a song. I love the way he and his band (Kent, and Ryan) are like brothers. I love how he always fixes his hair, and his smile. That was my favorite part...his smile. It could melt my heart so easily.'
