"Hey! She's a woman! She couldn't have done anything! Do you have evidence? No? Then you are the perpetrator. You are the criminal. She is the victim. Don't play your tricks." Do you know anybody who has faced this? This is kind of judgement that gives women more power and courage to continue with their crimes. Feminism doesn't mean giving women more opportunities than men, it also means giving them the same treatment a man is given in the court. It means giving a woman the same sentence a man would be given for the same crime. It means filling the gap of opportunities and removing the obstacles along the way, for both genders.
