New story! Yay! Now this may or may not be edited, I'm currently at school do I can't really edit it, but look out for it! My friend helped out with this and I'll only be posting a little bit if this story cause I plan to get it published, I'll let you all know if that happens. And you don't have to read all the creature descriptions, its just there to make writing this story easier. So, enough with my rambling! On with the story!

Creature Guidebook
By: Mercy Blackwood
Before we begin, I'm warning you now, you could get killed just for reading a sentence of this book. Put the book down if you don't think you can handle monsters coming at you.
Chapter 1: The Creatures and How they're made.
1. Nephilim-This is just a fancy way of saying an Angel who has fallen from grace. Fallen Angels.
2. Angels-They are servants of God, but that doesn't mean they can't sin.
3. Mermaid-People who are half fish and live underwater. Males are Mermen. Don't be fooled, while these creatures are very beautiful, they can be dangerous.
4. Banshee-A female spirit who is a messenger for Death. She will float around a house, wailing, telling that someone in the house will soon die.
5. Reaper-Reapers are the ones who are servants of Death, they show up to collect your soul after you die.
6. Elf-There are many kinds of elves: Blood Elf's, Light Elf's, Wood Elves, so on. There is too many for me to truly explain it.
7. Mamuna-These are female swamp demons. Most at risk for becoming one are old maids, unmarried mothers, pregnant women who die before childbirth, and abandon children. Mamunas are known for kidnapping newborns and replacing them with her own. Her babies will be very mutilated. There is a way for mothers to get there babies back, but it involves whipping the Mamunas baby near a midden and shouting, "Take yours, give mine back!", you also have to poor water on the baby. The Mamuna will give your baby back and take hers, but not many wish to hurt her baby, no matter how distorted.
8. Vampires-Beings who drink the blood of humans. Many are very evil, but few are kind. And don't go jumping to conclusions. Vampires don't sparkle and they don't die because of garlic. They can't go in the sun, but they don't sleep in coffins. They don't turn into bats either. To kill them, make sure you have wood, it's your only defense, and don't go shoving a cross in their face. They may not be able to step on holy ground, but they can touch crosses or at least all the ones I have come across.
9. Werewolf-These are humans who turn into very large wolves. The way to kill them is by using silver. Don't be fooled. A werewolf can be the nicest person around, but they can't control themselves in wolf form. Werewolves can also claim others as mates, while some do this for love, others force people into it.
10. Encantado-They Live underwater, but are seen as a sea snake or a freshwater dolphin, but they can shapeshift to humans; it only happens at night. Encantados are seductive and will try to kidnap young men, but recently, females have begun to disappear, there is now a possibility of male encantados.
11. Witch-A person who can use all sorts of magic, be warned, some really don't like humans because of how they have been portrayed. Some find it offensive. Not that i really blame them, after all, I'm angered by the fact that a lot of races call us rats and weak.
12. Aswang-A mix of witch and vampire. Not much is known of these because there are very few of them (when vampires and witches found this was their offspring, they stopped reproducing) All is known, is that they have wings that a loud when far away, but quiet when near. Be warned, what may seem like a normal grave robber, a kidnapping, or even a distant noise, it could be the work of an Aswang and i speak from experience.
