The following day, Lucky sent his his men to deal with Mario permanently. He sent Scott who was his bodyguard and Martin.
Mario was playing cards with his fellow men out the sitting area of the diner. Mario was a well known gambler in the city. The three men who assaulted Fernando stood near Mario.
"So I hope the job is done boys?"
"Er, Don Mario, we..." The man was cut off by Mario.
"Why do I sense you failed me." Mario says as he throws the cards on the table.
"Boss, we found him and assaulted him. As I was about to pull trigger cops arrived. We just ran away."
Mario looks fed up. "You what? You ran away without finishing the job. Damn you cowards!" Mario snapped as he hits the table with his fist.
"We are sorry boss." The man looked remorseful.
"It too late for your apologies. We have to make sure Fernando is history."
"That will be tough. He has guards around him since last night when he left the hospital." The man informed.
"Damn it! But why you didn't pull the trigger early? He should've died last night." Mario spoke as he looks disappointed at his men.
"Boss, next time we'll make sure we're fast in finishing him." The man reassured.
"There won't be a next time. All of you have failed to do your jobs, I absolutely hate people who fail me. Your services won't be needed anymore." Mario declared.
The men looked disappointed.
"I will hire competent people not amateurs like you." Mario scowled.
A motorcycle came down the street, as it approaches the restaurant - one of the person behind the driver opened fire aimed at the table of Mario and his men. Mario and his men got shot. People screamed for help, the motorcycle sped off. Mario was bleeding heavily in his body.
