~October 2016~

As Meghan sat back into the dressing room surrounded by the rails upon rails of clothes, she checked her phone quickly, awaiting a text message from a certain someone.

H❤️- Can you FaceTime me or are you busy, I just got back home x

Meg- I can quickly, I've got a couple of minutes in between outfits xxx

She smiled, sat in some beautiful (albeit uncomfortable) clothes and waited for him to initiate the FaceTime call.

"Heyyy!" he grinned widely as his face zoomed to full screen onto her phone, and she positioned the device on the table to sit up straight.

"Hi! How was it?" She beamed, noticing his loosened tie and tired eyes.

"It was good, loud, and I'm exhausted now, but it raised awareness for an amazing cause and I'm glad I was there again."

"That's amazing Harry. I miss you!"

"I miss you too, but we see each other in a week and that'll be good. How long have you got left on the shoot?"

"I don't know, I think I have two more looks to do."

"Well, you already look amazing, so anything else is just a bonus really," He smiled childishly, taking in Meghan's glamourous look.

"Thank you, H, but I'm exhausted too, this is all really just Daniel's work."

"Hmm, I'm not so sure. Anyway, it's Halloween tomorrow, and I have nothing to do, so I was wondering if you could ring me at about five or six your time, and then we can properly talk for a bit, like we're together."

"Sounds good, maybe we can even do a pumpkin carving competition?"

"Yess!"

"Oh, Harry, they're calling me to get changed, I've got to go. We'll talk tomorrow and I'll text you tonight, okay?"

"Yep, go! Be all model-like!" Meghan smiled as he ended the call and was left dozed with her special idea.

"What's got you so smiley?" The stylist walked in holding a pair of black heels.

"Nothing, what's next?" She couldn't stop herself from beaming, and everybody around her noticed her pure delight.

By the time her shoot was over, Meghan headed straight home to pick up her luggage for the quick, off-the-cuff trip. She'd known for a while that Harry wasn't much of a holiday celebrator, and that was about to change. Having secretly booked a flight to London, by the time she got to Nottingham Cottage, Harry would be long gone on another engagement in Birmingham. So, she had plenty of time to set up the afternoon and evening for them. He'd given her a key the last time she went over there, just for logistics' sake, and now she was going to use it to the best of her ability.

She was out of the door and at the airport in record speed, bursting with anticipation to see her boyfriend. As she sat down in the lounge, Meghan remembered to text him, and checked the time on her phone. It was seven, which meant midnight there (they'd become pretty nifty with the time calculations already). She assumed he'd still be awake, and so dropped him a little message to ensure that he wouldn't try to FaceTime her again.
