THE NEXT DAY

I took a bite of my apple and opened the hospital door for Malorie. 

"You ready?" I asked. 

She smiled, she had french braids in her hair black jeans and a blue turtle neck. We signed into the hospital and waited to be called. About an hour later we heard

"Malorie." 

We got up and followed the doctor to our usual room. Malorie sat down on the bed and I stood beside her. 

"How far long are you?" Doctor winston asked. 

"Five months." Malorie answered. 

"Okay," The doctor paused. "Your due September 12." He smiled.   

I smiled wider then ever. I wasnt scared to be a father I'd love this baby with all of my heart. She'd be my baby girl Delilah Tozier the most important person in my life. 

FOUR MONTHS LATER

I looked at Malorie who was holding our precious baby girl who was crying. 

"Do you wanna hold her?" Malorie asked. 

I nodded and took her from Malorie's arms. She had a little bit of curly brown hair on her head, My nose, My eyes and head shape. She was perfect. She stopped crying. She was born an hour ago and she was already the most important thing in my life. September 11th the best day of the year. 

"Hi Delilah." I smiled. "It's me your daddy," 

Eddie walked into the room along with Bev. 

"There are the god parents." Malorie smiled. 

"Aww, Shes so cute." Bev giggled. 

"What's her name?" Eddie asked. 

"Delilah, You already knew that." I rolled my eyes. 

"Her full name." Eddie corrected. 

"Delilah Beverly Tozier." Malorie answered. 

Beverly's jaw dropped. "Shes named after me?" She asked.  

My Richie was about to come out don't say it...

"Yes." Malorie answered. 

"Why?" Bev asked. 

"I first it sounds best with her name." I said. 

"Second, You're really important in her life." Malorie added. 

"Awww, guys." Beverly smiled. 

"Can I hold her?" Eddie asked. 

I looked at her sleeping and adorable.

"Yes." Malorie answered. 

I held her in my arms as Eddie took her. 

"Be careful." I said. 

"Okay." Eddie smiled. 

He held her tightly and he looked at her like she was the most amazing thing to him. He looked adorable with his polo shirt and gelled hair. He was perfect. 

mom came running in the room. "Sorry I got held up at work." 

"Hey mom" I hugged her. 

"Hey maggie." Malorie smiled. 

"Hey guys." Mom smiled she took Delilah from Eddies arms.  "Hey cutie its me your Nana."  

Bev took her a couple minutes after words. 

"Hey its Auntie Bev." Beverly smiled. 

2 DAYS AFTER 

Malorie, Delilah and I were home now. May I say Delilah never stopped crying, She would cry if Malorie, held her mom held her and I was the only one she would stop with. Which is difficult because, I was always working at the hot digidy dog hot dog shack.

Malorie and I were laying on my bed Delilah was in the middle of us asleep. 

"What time do you work?" She asked. 

"I don't work today." I answered. 

I layed on back and next thing I new I was asleep. 

"Eddie" I screamed. 

"Richie please, please dont leave, I need you, please dont leave again, please Richie, please, I love you, I need you." Eddie cried

I shot up gasping for air.
