Chapter 14: The change

ANNIKA'S POV

I sat on the couch with Joe and played Fifa for a while. I ended up beating Joe 3 times in a row after he beat me the first time. After we played for a while we just sat there in silence. I was enjoying the silence so I could think when my phone rang. I sighed.

"Hello?" I said.

"Annika? Its mom."  My mom said.

"Oh! Hey mom."

"Are you coming home or not?" I looked at Joe with a sign of panick.

"I-I-I'm not mom." I needed to stand my ground.

"Well, You have no choice."

"I do have a choice! I am 19 years old. I can make my own decisions."

"You are still living in my house, under my roof so you do not make your own decisions"

"Well, Im not living with you." 

"What?" 

"I am living with really nice and kind people right now and I couldnt be happier."

"Whatever. But dont you dare come running back to me." I hung up after that comment and started crying. I was so stressed out right now. But then I feltt Joe wrap his arms around my waist and I leaned in for a hug.

"I dont know what to do Joe." I admitted.

"What do you mean? You are going to be living with me." He replied.

"I know. But will my mom ever allow me to see her again, my dad or even Jack and Finn? I need to see Jack and Finn before they leave!" I said coming to my senses. I dialed Jack's number automatically.

"Hello?" Jack answered.

"Jack! Come to Caspar and Joes." I said into the phone.

"Is everything alright?" 

"Yeah....but I need to see you and bring Finn too."

"Alright on my way." I hung up and I felt a little more releaved. 

A few minutes later there was a knock at the door. I ran to it and saw Jack and Finn. I gave them both a hug.

"Woah Annika! We arent leaving forever!" Finn said.

"I know but mom got really mad at me and I dont know if she will ever allow me to see you guys again. I couldnt let you leave without seeing you."

"Awwwww......Annika we are going to miss you so much." Jack said hugging me again.

"I may never act like I like you guys but I really do. If you were never here I dont know what I would do. Your my older brothers and I love you both so much." 

"We love you too.....but we actually have to go. Mom just texted."

"Alright. Im going to miss you."

"You can always come to Brighton to visit."

"First of all....I dont know if mom will let me and secondly.....its a very long drive."

"Yeah......alright....well, call me and Finn whenever." 

"I will." I hugged them both once again. They left without another word and I started crying again.

"Will I ever see them again Joe?" I asked.

"Of course! They can come here or I can drive you there." I just nodded and hugged Joe.

"I love you Joe. You always know what to say." 

"Thank you. I love you too."

After that little goodbye I calmed down and Gaby left the house and Caspar came down stairs. He sat on the couch with us and we all watched the rest of The Untold Stories of The ER. When that show finished we decided on eating something.

"We could call Jimmy Johns and they can deliver here?" I offered.

"Yeah sure." Caspar and Joe agreed. I called. Joe ordered a Numer one Pepe, Caspar ordered a Number 4 Turkey Tom, and I ordered the Number 6 The Vegie. After we ordered I decided to go up and change. But then I remembered I had no clothes! I ran back down the stairs.

"Little problem. I have no clothes!"I said.

"Do you wanna go back to your house?" Joe asked.

"They left by now!" I opened the front door and there were about 6 boxes on the door step. There was also a letter attached.

Annika,

We made sure to pack everything from your old room into these boxes for you. We will miss you. Hope to see you soon.

Jack and Finn brought all of my stuff! I couldnt believe it! Caspar and Joe helped me bring all my boxes down stairs to the gues bedroom which is now mine. It was right next to Joe's. I put all the boxes there and then I started unpacking. While I was unpacking the food arrived so I ate really quick then went back down and unpacked.

When I was finished I was very proud of my room.  I looked at it and admired it. Then I changed into my pajamas.  I walked upstairs and Caspar and Joe were watching TV.  I sat down next to them. 

"Finished?" Caspar said.

"I did. Im actually very proud of it." I reply.

"Im glad. You are going to have a ton of fun here at the Jaspar home!" Caspar exclaimed. Thats when it hit me. I am living in a house with 2 guys and no girls. Its going to a change but I think I will enjoy it. I really love Joe so maybe one day we can get a house together and we could get married and have kids.....woah....to far. We have been dating or a while but not that long so I cant get ahead of myself and think of these things because what if we dont get married? What if we dont move in a house together? What if we dont have kids? There is always the what if's.

"Earth to Annika!" Joe yelled waving his hand in my face.

"Oh! Sorry." I said. I hadn't noticed I was zoned out the whole time. 

"What were you thinking about?" 

"Nothing important really."

"Really? Because you were really zoned out. We can always talk. We can go to my room or yours and we can talk about whats on your mind."

"Alright." I really need to explain to Joe what I have been thinking.
