His mind takes him back to his 24th birthday where he thought that he had everything in the world as his world began to revolve around a single person who is as fresh as flower. As he starts reminiscing he could feel a new feeling familiar to happiness as soon as that happy face comes to his mind; a feeling familiar to 2yrs ago. But he is also aware of the dull ache that now is starting to grip his heart as he remembers that the face which he is longing to see is no longer in his life or will ever be.
His phone started to beep with countless messages with wishes and long life blessings for his birthday. He checked the time and found that the time is exactly 11.59 p.m. His members in order to become the winner has all decided to send their before the clock strikes midnight. The fans speculation of them sharing a single brain cell are indeed true to an extent. He noted even his Lay hyung who is successfully making Exo and our beloved fans Exo-l proud with his hardwork and dedication towards his work in China has wished him. He thanked him first and told him to take rest and not to overwork.
In the amidst of the reply to Lay hyung, the phone starts to ring with the sweet voice of hera singing "Happy Birthday to you ... Happy birthday to the best boy in the world ... Have happiness in life as long as you live and hopefully me too in your life". This is the song she had sent on his 23rd birthday; his first birthday with her presence in his life. At that time he had a concert in Japan and is not in hometown in order to celebrate his birthday with his Japan Exo-l's.
He still remembers that day till now. Eventhough he had loved that day's celebration with his beloved fans and members, he was very tired and is about to hit the bed after taking a refreshing shower; that is when he received that voice message. The message which he cherishes as his life.
He had asked his beloved Hera whether she will be his girlfriend 6months before his birthday then and she had naively answered that she is. Before realizing the question and has been missing since then. When he called her she would be saying that she is busy doing this and that. Seriously I thought is she saving the world or what. It was clear she was avoiding me.
He had let her take her own time. And finally on his 23rd birthday she had sent such a beautiful and hopeful message in her own sweet voice. He had felt immense pleasure and pure happiness on hearing her say that she is hoping to be in my life.
Eventhough she had not said directly that she is willing to be my girlfriend but it close to that. He had felt sad that he has to stay in Japan for whole week before returning to Seoul.
His thoughts were cutoff when the phone stopped ringing and a moment later Hera's singing wishes for my birthday is heard again. He had set that voice message as his ringtone that evening before he started drinking. He know that she won't wish on his birthday but he want to hear her wishing for his birthday. In this way she would be the one who is wishing him first. After hearing her wishes he felt wonderful. Although this marks that he had been living his life without her for whole two years.
He sighed and attended the phonecall. It is kyungsoo who just said Happy birthday and the minute I thanked him he told me to take rest and cutter the call. I wonder sometimes whether he has emotions. Eventhough he is not so open about feelings he has such a soft side that he would do anything for his members happiness.

After talking to everyone he went to bed looking at Hera's photo in his hand.
