I grab my lighter and blunt as I climbed out my attic room window and on to my roof with my white cat demon trailing behind me. I quickly light it and take a hit inhaling and exhaling the smoke. In hopes of easing my nerves about my first day at my new school tomorrow. I kept getting the feeling that I was being watched so I looked to my left and sure enough there was a boy that looked somewhat around my age looking directly at me sitting on top of his roof too. What I found weird was that he kept staring at me even though he knew he had been caught. I figured he didn't care so I threw him a smile, which is when he then decided to finally look away. I frowned but kept my eyes fixated on him as my cat rubbed himself against my legs purring. I studied his features not caring about how long I had been staring. He was extremely good looking. He just looked soft and cuddly which almost urged me to go up and give him the biggest hug. His hair looked soft and fluffy I badly felt like running my hands through it. His facial expression looked completely the opposite. He looked dead, and from the bags under his eyes it looked like he hadn't been getting much sleep either. I could tell just by looking at him how tired he seemed of life. He looked like he needed a hit of my blunt too but as I was going to offer him a hit I heard somebody yell his name from inside his house. He quickly got up and made his way back inside to what I'm guessing is his room. "At least I know his name now" I thought to myself. "Kairi" I slowly said aloud, his name seemed to just roll effortlessly off my tongue. I quickly finished my blunt and climbed back inside my room. I then brushed my teeth and climbed into bed with demon curling up below my chest thinking about how my first day at school would go tomorrow. I slowly drifted off into a peaceful high sleep with my new school and strange neighbor at the back of my mind.
