Dear Diary,
I've always loved water. Specifically swimming. I've been on a swim team since I was 5, and I just started competitive. I was the youngest on my team when the season started, only being 12, almost 13. My team mainly consisted of 14 year olds, but my old coach Moriah said I could probably outswim all of them with my hands tied behind my back. When I joined, all the girls on my team laughed at me. That was until I beat them all in multiple races. Not only did they stop laughing, their coach loved me. I brought in win after win for the Lady Ducks, our team. Silly name, I know. My new coach, Meghan, thinks I have potential to swim on high school competitive teams next season. As the season sped by, I took home medal after medal, trophy after trophy, win after win. It almost got to a point where I had little to no challenge beating my older competitors. When Meghan realized this, she begrudgingly put in a request to move me up to the high school girl's competitive swim team. Which was obviously met fast. However, they won't start their season until I turn 13, in five months.
