Song For This Chapter: Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
********************************
"Don't trust him." the voice coming from her mouth says.
Her blonde hair flew around her in the soft breeze and her blue eyes illuminated in the dying sun. We in the park so near where I grew up.
"What do you mean?" I ask her.
Who is this girl? Where did she come from? Questions swarm in my head, mixing and jumbling like a swarm of angry bees ready to attack at any moment.
All she can do is stare at me with those icy blue eyes, making me feel cold and alone.
My world fades as I hear a faint voice in the distance.
"What do you mean?" I scream it now, desperate for an answer before I go.
"Don't trust the boy." she says.
Her final words ring in my ear as everything goes black.
"GET UP IT'S ALMOST EIGHT!"
My eyes fly open as they meet a glass of ice cold water.
"KRISTEN!" I scream back as I throw my sopping wet pillow at her. "Why didn't you wake me up!"
"I just did." she laughs, and then her blonde braids flouce out of the room.
Growling, I throw the covers off myself and sprint to the bathroom. It's never good to be late for school when you have a first period biology test.
I hastily pull my messy brown hair into a ponytail and throw on my school uniform before dashing downstairs and grabbing a protein bar.
"Amber you are so going to be late." my mom yells as she grabs her purse.
"Have fun at school." Kristen says sticking her tounge out.
"Shut it." I snap, wacking her head with the still wrapped protein bar.
"Amber, cut it out!" Mom yells.
"She started it!" I retort.
My mom just rolls her eyes and walks out the door "I'm leaving with or without you."
Grabbing up my blue backpack, and giving my sister one last dirty look, I exit the house.
"Why do they get a day off?" I ask my mom.
My sister goes to public school until she's old enough to attend my private high school.
"You got four days off last weekend, stop complaining." mom says.
I keep quiet the rest of the car ride and just eat my protein bar.
"Hey, don't you have a biology test today?" my mom asks, not taking her eyes off the road.
"Nooooo......" I say, still annoyed by the glass of water.
"Amber!" mom shouts.
"Sorry..." I say looking out the window.
