A large metal wall stood before you, its majestic detailing and overall size making its appearance stand out against the backdrop of Kukuroo Mountain. A small building sat to the right, the guard inside reading a book as the tourists filed out of the bus behind you.

"Excuse me, miss? How do we get inside?" you could hear Gon talking to the tour guide.

"Little Boy, weren't you listening earlier?" the woman looked annoyed.

"Yes, but..."

"If you go inside you'll never come out! Assassins live there!"

You looked up at the large wall, the smaller gate catching your eye next to the guard's station.

"There's no way that's the gate. The metal wall is too decorated for the concrete around it. For a gate called the Door of Hades, and the fact that the 'wall' is numbered, the small gate has to be a decoy," you thought to yourself.

As you thought about the gate, your aura expanded. The guard looked towards you through the window and his eyes narrowed. Your eyes met his, nodding gently at the 'gate' next to him, before looking back quickly towards the bus and the tourists meandering around the site. Gon and the tour guide were talking quietly while Leorio and Kurapika gazed up at the mountain beyond the gate.

"It's all a sham. A family of assassins that no one's ever seen. Just a photo of their faces is worth millions," two men stepped off the bus and started to walk menacingly towards the gate.

Leorio started mumbling about Killua and how he missed his chance to make a profit off the Hunter Exam. The men kept walking towards the gate, a threatening look on their faces. They kept talking about the rumors related to the Zoldyck family. The larger man ripped the door of the small building off its hinges, grabbing the guard inside by the collar and pulling him out.

"Open the gate!" he growled in the guard's face.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that. The master would be unpleased."

"We're going to kill your master," the other man spoke up.

The guard hesitated, but lifted the key to the gate and handed it over. Grabbing the key and tossing the guard to the ground, the two men ran to the gate and forced their way inside. Gon rushed to the guard and tried to help him up. They exchanged a few words before you walked up to them, trying to keep an eye on the situation.

"Oh no, now Mike's going to end up eating between meals again."

The morbid sound of screams came through the doors of the gate, the men behind wailing in pain and fear. The tourists gasped as their eyes locked onto the border of the Zoldyck Estate. The door creaked open. With a low growl, a monstrous hand came out, dropping the stripped skeletons of the two men onto the stone ground, the gate key clattering as it skidded towards your feet. The tour guide screamed, setting off a panicked chain reaction throughout the area. The tourists scrambled back onto the bus, making it shake as they jumped into their seats.

"Please. He's only supposed to eat at the assigned times."

You laughed as the guard scratched his head, distraught over the mysterious guard dog's eating schedule.

"What was that?" Kurapika asked, standing next to a shaking Leorio.

The four of you looked up at the wall towering over you, the dragon statues on the top barring their sharp teeth. Gon's eyes filled up with wonder as Kurapika and Leorio started to sweat nervously. You ran your gaze up and down the metallic design, observing the numbers as they got bigger the higher up you looked.

"What are you doing? Get on the bus!" the tour guide shouted, leaning out the door of the vehicle as she waved a red flag in your direction.

"You can leave. We're staying here," Gon smiled.
