Chapter 4

A N N E

I suddenly wake up from my sleep and when I check the clock it’s still 3;30 and the time na pinagkasunduan na namin na mag meet sa tapat ng school ay 7 pa.  ‘Masyado atang maaga ang gising ko ngayon, ganun ba ako ka excited?’ I thought to myself nang makita kong natutulog pa si Snow and Faye sa kaniya kaniyang kama nila. So I decided to go out and cook our breakfast. While preparing our breakfast let me tell you how our family ended up living in the mortal world.

FLASHBACK

I was 9 years old back then when my family decided to move to the mortal world. Actually, my mom and dad is the only one needed to move there but since they don’t want to miss me and give me to my Aunt which is the Queen of Aquis Kingdom they agreed to bring me there and send me back here if my age year of coming is near which is 19 years old. “Mom? Where are we going?” I ask mom. “Darling, we need to live temporarily in the mortal world because mommy and daddy want you to experience life there.” Mom said but she and Dad were exchanging glances like there’s something more about it but of course, as a child, I have no clue about that so I just agreed and ask them lots of questions in return.

When we passed over the dimensional breaker our hair color automatically changes into black like the hair of mortals. It was about 2 months passed since we lived there and I find it boring because mom and dad are not always at home and busy taking care of things they called ‘work’ I was so bored that day so I headed out of the house to go the mini-park in the village to play with the fishes in the fountain there.

I finally arrived in the park that time and I looked around if there are mortals when I notice that there is no one aside from me I sit on the fountain border and started talking to the fish there. I can talk to them since I have water magi. I was enjoying talking and playing with the fishes until I felt tired so I raised my head and suddenly I met someone’s stare. Two children are in front of me staring, one girl has braided brunette hair and the other girl has blonde hair but the thing that attracts me the most is her eyes. Her eyes are black but if you have magi like me you will notice that black is only a cover her real eye color is galaxy-like.

“You're an enchantor right?” the blonde girl asks. I was surprised upon hearing this and had my defense up when she casually spoke again “ You don’t have to panic we’re the same you know” She said then snap her hands and the next thing I knew we teleport into a treehouse. She introduces herself as Faye then the brunette hair is Snow.

“Is that your real hair and eye color?” I ask them but they shake their hand and revealed their real hair and eye colors. Snow has light blue hair and crystal-like eyes and she’s an Ice Enchantress, while Faye has shining white pearls hair and galaxy eyes and she said that she’s a blue fire and air enchantress which is I doubt because her eye and hair color stood out too much and one fact about us is that Enchantors are born with specific hair and eye color that represents the power we have. So I ask her if that was her only power and she just shrugs off the question and quickly changes the topic to my real hair and eye color, so I have no choice but to show it to them.

From then on we became best friends and we discovered that our parents also knew each other and the fact that they were also friends.

F A Y E

I was awakened by the smell of overcooked rice. I quickly head to the kitchen and found a daydreaming Anne. “ Anne turns the rice cooker off,” I said to her. Anne waked from daydreaming and panicking turned the button off. “What in the world are you imagining? Let me guess the handsome man yesterday with a serious face?” I tased to her. Her face suddenly flushed red and deny it.’ How fun should I play as their cupid’ I said to myself while showing a teasing smile to her. After our short lovey-dovey talks, Snow came out from her room as well and joined us for breakfast.

I used magi to packed my things then I picked a black crop top hoody, black fitted jeans, and black high cut shoes as my outfit today. I head outside along with Anne who’s wearing a gray gitted tank top, a jacket, hiking jeans, and low cut shoes while Snow is wearing a baby blue fitted shirt, black leggings, and hiking boots.

When we reach the gate we saw the royalties waiting for us. They were talking about something but when we arrive they stooped talking and looked at us I even saw amazement passed their eyes. I shake my head and head towards them with Snow and Anne.

“ Nandito na naman siguro ang lahat? Pwede na tayong umalis.” Kuya Dhexter said. He’s our leader for this journey but I heard from the other students here that Ace is their group's real leader and the reason is he's the most powerful and he’s unbeatable.
