What Did I Do?

The lights are flashing on the road. The sound of the rain drops hitting against the window sounds like the countdown of a bomb that's going to explode in my heart. The alarm of the ambulance is really loud but I can't hear it. I'm lost in my thoughts and inner pain as I watched her lying down on the bed, surrounded by the doctors and I.

"What did I do?"

My guilt is eating me from inside. She can barely breath, covered in blood. The doctors can hardly keep her alive.

"Hold on Mimi, we're almost there."

We finally arrived at the hospital. As soon as the ambulance parked, they rolled her bed inside, under the pourind rain. I tried to follow them but halfway down the main corridor a nurse blocked me and told me to wait. I was going to pass her when my phone rang. I answered after a few seconds.

-"Hello?"

-"Hey J.H. Where are you?"

-"I..........umm, I'm at the hospital."

-"Oh my God" I finally recognised Du Jun's voice, "Are you O.K.?"

-"Ya,I.........I am. It's not for me. It's Mimi," I started to panic as I remembered the horrible sceene.

-"O.K. , calm down we're coming."

20 minutes later Yoseob's P.O.V.

-"How is she, doctor?" Du Jun asked as the doctor let us in the room where she is. 

There was only Du Jun, Dong Woon, Gi Kwang, the doctor and I in the room with her. H.S. tayed with J.H.-who wasn't strong enough to support the sight of her- in the corridor, trying to confort him.

-"I'm afraid to say that we don't know for sure. She seems stable for now but she  could just leave at every moment." the doctor answered looking down at her."The only thing we are sure of is that the baby is lost."

-"The baby?" we all said confused.

-"Yes, she was pregnant. It was recent, around 1 or 2 weeks ago I'd say"

Before we could say anything else, we were inturpted by a beeping noise. We looked at one of the machines:

Then we looked at the doctor who ran out get a nurse. I felt tears coming up my eyes, I knew what was happening and I couldn't stand it.

J.H.'s P.O.V.

-"We need a nurse. NOW!!!" I heard the doctor called out.

I ran to the room but I was paralized with fear when I saw all those doctors and nurses around her with some kind of machine. I just stood there, at the door. I watched every detail of it.

-"Ready? 1, 2, 3" the doctor called out when he pressed some electric stuff on her brests. Her upper body jump and everyone looked at the machine.

-"Again" he souted "1,2,3"

Still nothing.

-"AGAIN!! 1,2,3!!"

Everybody frozed then the nurses started to get out. The doctor stopped starring at the machine when a nurse put her hand on his shoulder. He turned around with dissapointement in his eyes, looked up at me and shook his head.

-"NOO!" I shouted as I ran up to the bed pushing the doctor away from her. I was in panic. I touched her hair, face, I grabbed her hand and kneeled beside her bed saying:

-"Now you listen to me, I know I did this to you and you can hate me forever if you want but you CAN'T do this to me, not after what we've been through. I.....I......I love you," I felt everyone looking down at me but I didn't care. I stared at her, hopping for a second that she would wake up but nothing happened. I felt a hand on my shoulder. My eyes were all red and ready to unleashed a river of tears. I bowed my head and let my tears flow, still holding her hand. I heard something, a familiar noise beside me. I looked up at the machine:

I felt something squeezing my hand.

"I........Oh my God, I can't believe it."

I looked at the guys. Their smile was similar to mine.

-"You didn't think I was going to leave you like that," I heard her saying with a warm smile.
