Sugar And Spice, She Ain't Very Nice

Prologue

Amara Santiago slowly walked down the hall of Dalingo's palace towards the throne room for she was the high general meaning she had no choice but to answer Lord Dane's call.

She looked around at the red walls and golden decorations laced around the Hall as she enjoyed the silence.

It was really late and most the palace servants were sleeping however the guards were awake and watching her.

Amara stood tall her red hair tied in a high ponytail and gold cape trailing behind her as she walked towards the doors when suddenly she felt the room turn cold,  she thought nothing of it however and placed her hand on the giant wooden double door.

"Maybe Ma'lord has found them... " She said as she opens the door to find Lord Dane alone.

"M'lord, " Amara spoke strongly as she then kneeled. "You called for me? "

"Yes General I did,  I have a very important mission for you. " Lord Dane then pulled a scroll out of his pocket.  "You know of the Starmore family correct? "

"Yes, m'lord,  the rulers of Cymore. "

"The current rulers of Cymore,  I'd like to change that and you are going to help. "

Amara froze as she heard Lord Dane's words.  "You want to take the throne from the king? M'lord are you sure that is the right decision, to take the North."

"The Starmores lead our world well, yes,  but they forget how to protect our people. "

"M'lord,  as your general I will do as you say but I advise we do not attempt to take the North,  King Talion is powerful. "

"Then we take what he loves most,  his daughter. " Lord Dane said with a snarl.

" How do you plan on doing that?" Amara questioned.

"We'll figure that out later General Santiago but as of now take my declaration of war to the king and do not return until you make sure he has a response. " Lord Dane pointed at the door as he held out the letter.

Amara hesitated but she knew it had to be done,  she took the letter and rode off on her horse without a second thought towards the capital.
