(Aoba's pov)

It was after (y/n) and I got married. He recently rescued me from Trip and Virus who turned out to be members of Morphine. I had a feeling Trip and Virus would notice I was gone. I hope they didn't. But they did.

It all started after I came back from work. I couldn't believe it. The house (y/n) and I were living in, there was a large Morphine logo painted on the front of the house! The door was banged down, so I feared for the worst. I went in the house, and everything was smashed and destroyed. "(Y/n)!" I cried, "Are you here?! Are you okay?!"

No response. I ran through the halls to (y/n)'s bedroom. The door was shut and locked. I tried to open it and shouted, "(y/n), are you in there? Answer me dammit!" I shouted.

Feeling impatient, I broke the door handle and went into his room, and I could not believe what I was seeing! (Y/n) was sitting on the side of his mattress, head slumped down, motionless, with six stab wounds in his body. What the hell? What the hell?! There was no knife nearby, so it definitely wasn't suicide. He was murdered. I broke down, crying. I lost the love of my life. Never again I'll see his face, I'll never see him smile again. I felt a motion on my leg. It was a fox. (Y/n)'s allmate Gary. "Aoba!" He screamed.

But his scream didn't sound like his. It sounded like...(y/n)'s?! "Wait, (y/n)?" I cried.

"It was horrible!" He cried, "Trip and Virus broke into the house looking for you, and once they found me, they tried to kill me. Yet, they did and locked me in the room."

"How did you get into Gary's body?" I ask him.

"Right when I was about to go, Gary called out to me and said it was okay to plant my consciousness into his allmate form. So technically, Gary's the one who's actually gone." He explained.

I hugged the fox and said, "Don't worry (y/n), I will avenge you."

I bumped me and (y/n)'s heads like I do with Ren. I scooped up the fox and ran out the door. I had to find Trip and Virus soon. They'll pay for what they did to (y/n)!

[Time skip]

We ran for a very long time. They couldn't have gotten off the island right away. "(Y/n), can you detect anyone nearby?" I asked.

"Yes. I can." He said. "So this is what being an allmate is like."

"Anyone close by?" I ask.

"Yes....it's them! And their allmates are close by too!" He responded. "Their allmates trashed the house too."

"Lead the way!" I said.

(Y/n)'s fox form ran and I almost couldn't keep up! That was when, we came across a house. It looked small, but it looked like a natural house. "Come on!" Said (y/n).

But, I scooped up (y/n) and said, "I'm not letting go in there on your own. They could find out you're in that body and you'll be gone for good!"

"Aoba," he said stiffly, "they made my original body uninhabitable. I want to give them what's coming!"

"Their allmates will crush this form, not to mention you'd lose Gary too!" I said.

"Alright." He said, "Let's just go in and get it done."

Still holding (y/n) in my arms, I went into the house. Every once in a while, his puffy tail twitched. We went deeper into the house, and (y/n) let out a robotic gasp. "What's wrong?" I whispered.

"I thought I saw something." He whispered.

"What?"

"A snake." He whispered, now with terror in his voice.
