Castle LunarShift

Timeless Stonework

     Greetings and welcome to Castle LunarShift,  it's nice to see some new faces around here, it means the clan is beginning to grow which is always good for us. Of course your here to learn about our wonderful Castle though so I won't bore you with other details. Castle LunarShift is a large castle of compact buildings built upon a central hill location. It's an ancient place built by a race of elves who had advanced knowledge for their time period,  the clock tower is proof enough of that. The walls are also infused with the power of these elves, as a result the castle never seems dull of lifeless and the walls are not damaged by the ravaging nature of time.

     To begin we will start with the surrounding area of the castle. The castles actually built on a large hill that's next to a huge cliff side. Rolling prairie land comes up to this cliff but there's only a small amount of it as the prairie land is surrounded by a huge forest of many kinds of trees. Under the castle is actually a underground river and a waterfall comes out from the cliffside that is behind the  castle and falls down to join a river at the bottom of the cliff that flows off west.

     Out of the forest comes a path that cuts across the prairie land to the main gate of Castle LunarShift. The gate is a draw bridge with two impressive towers rising into the air and having the workings inside to raise and lower the bridge.

     Once through the gate you will come into the ground level of the Castle. Here there are buildings on either side of the thick street, blacksmiths, stables, woodworking, trades like those mentioned, and houses all adorn this level, nothing is occupied at this moment but with the addition of new members to our clan, things will start to grow and trades in the castle can be taken over again.

     Following the road you will find a curved ramp that leads your up to the second level of the castle, which is primarily housing with a few shops specifically dedicated to magic and the arts of divination. At the far northern part of this level is also the castles massive gardens, fruit trees of all shapes and sizes grow here, along with bushes and hedges and flowers of all kinds, all aragned in a perfect array.

     Once again you can follow the path and go up to the third level of the Castle. The market lies in the eastern part of this level along with many many different kinds of shops, a few members of the clan already come through here sometimes, perhaps deciding if they want to sell something at a stall sometime. In the southern part of this level is the city's large university and Library,  the halls of this place of learning no longer bustle with students but the books left inside have no dust on them and wait to be read once more. In the western part of the third level there was the castle's main armory and battle hall,  along with a few small mansions that looked like the once belonged to nobility. The northern past of the level is taken up by a huge ornate set of stairs that lead up to the forth and final level.

     The final level of the castle holds the keep which is really a a large irregular shaped building with three large towers shooting off from it.  This is the real base for the clan of LunarShift. For within this keep is everything we really need. The towers contain rooms for people to lodge in, the kitchen is huge and wells stocked. The main hall is an ornately adorned room with a large table within it for meetings. The keep has it's own small armory and battle hall,  lesson room and Library,  and much more.
