Luka wakes up sad because Marinette does not trust him and she broke off the engagement. He did not do anything to make her feel this way. He writes her a letter to let her know he still loves her.

Dear Marinette,
I am sorry I never told you about my past girlfriend. It seems there is a huge misunderstanding about it. The feelings for her are long gone since she is a huge flirt. She dumps me for some guy she barely knows, for crying out loud. There is no way I will ever get back with her.
Ever since I met you, you're the only girl for me. There is no one else.
I love you! Please, give us another chance, Marinette.
I miss all the fun times we had with each other, the love, and kisses we share.
Tomorrow, come to the park at noon and sit under the tall, cherry tree with pink blossoms on it. I promise to meet you there, my darling.

Luka seals the letter up in an envelope, adds a postage stamp to it, and mails it to her.
The next day, Marinette checks her mail and sees the letter from him. She tears the envelope open and begins to read the note. She cries. She puts on something nice, and a bit of make-up. She hopes he can forgive her.
Marinette arrives at the park right on schedule. She sits under the cherry tree. She thinks he forgot her and sobs. She feels strong arms surround her, so she looks up to see him. She gasps. She cannot believe it.
"Luka, I am sorry. I never should have given the ring back." Marinette says.
"It is okay, Marinette you are here now," Luka says.
"I should not have broken off the engagement. It was foolish of me, please forgive me." Marinette remarks.
Luka replies, "Marinette, I have already forgiven you."
Luka reaches up, brushes her tears from her eyes with his fingers and gently kisses her. He feels her respond with kisses of her very own. He smiles and says, "Here, I believe this is your's."
Marinette looks at him with amazement, but takes the ring and slides it back into its rightful place on her finger. She grins at him, and kisses him once more.
Juleka arrives at the park. She came to relax a bit. She sees Lukanette back together and smiles. She is so happy for them. She takes a few photos and posts them to her Instagram page. Then, she post them to her Twitter account as well. She sends a copy of the pictures to her brother, then to Marinette. She hopes they will thank her later.
