Present Day, NMMC - Monday Board Meeting
Present lahat ng board of directors ngayon maliban kay Dio at Lex. Hindi sila makakarating dahil nga nasa Dinagat sila kasama ng mga residents at iba pang staff ng NMMC. Nandito rin ngayon si Chairman at si Tito Howard.
Nagsimula ang discussions mula sa mga maliliit na bagay, hanggang sa mapunta ito sa finances, mga procurement at kung ano-ano pa. Na-discuss din ang overall mortality rate ng mga surgeons at so far ay tolerable naman ito. Pati mga extension programs ng ospital ay na-tackle narin kaya naman tinitigan ko si Paul.

Kahit saan talaga ay di nawawala ang politics - I hate it.
"Now, we are looking at the idea of applying this year for the Asia's Center for Surgical Excellence" pahayag ni Dr. Howard Mondragon.

"Maybe we should apply for clinical trials on Alzheimer and pursue Sky's Autism project" dagdag pa nito.
"Sky's autism research is too raw, it's still on the conception stage" sagot naman ni Doc Albert.
"Then kick his butt out and let him focus on that, hindi yung isesend niyo siya dun sa isla to do nothing. You're just giving him the time to flirt with my son"
"With all due respect Doc Howard, let's focus on the medicine thing and not on the personal thing" tugon ni Paul, I smirked a bit. Nakita ko naman kung paano pandilatan ni Doc Howard ang pamangkin nito.
"What about pushing through with this penile reconstruction surgery" tanong nito.
"It's not a reconstruction, nothing is damaged. And that surgery is costly and medically irrelevant" sagot ko.
Tumingin silang lahat sa akin.
"But that medically irrelevant surgery can give us another Jansenn trophy Dr. Castañeda"
"But it can also destroy us"
"I'd like to make an investment, Mondragon Foundation will shoulder half of the expenses but you will perform that surgery to that patient. Assemble your team and I'll talk with the patient"
