Elena's baby

Chapter 6

Elena's POV

The weekend after the night at Stefan's house Bonnie was doing some research and figured out that my baby will develop slower that most baby's. She thinks even up to twice as long of a pregnancy. Bonnie and Jeremy have also found a witch doctor who can see parts of the future. I have been seeing her for a while now for the ultra sounds.

When we slept over at Stefan's house it was the week of easter. Now it is the beginning of October and my baby is only the size of a three month old. If being preggers for nine months was enough try for at least fifteen.

I walked out of the library at my college. I had finished studying with the books i borrowed i returned the books and left when it was closing time. On the walk to my car it started to become very chilly. Half way to my car the debris on the ground started to move around and this strong winds picked up. 'What the heck is going on?' I asked my self in wonder at this strange weather after a sunny morning.

When I finally got to my car a slight drizzle appeared. I put my books onto the passengers seat and started the car. I quickly drove out of the parking lot and onto the main highway. Soon the drizzle turned into a full on thunder storm.

Finally I arrived back at my dorm and parked the car. I quickly grabbed my stuff and ran inside the barley light dorm building, past the secretary desk, and up the stairs to my dorm. At the dorm I opened the door and went inside to be met with candles everywhere and a frantic Caroline on her laptop cacooned in her white fluffy duvet.

"Care bear" Caroline looked up at me with wide eyes I laughed and said "what are you doing?" I said laughing and stepping around the millions of candles on the floor ready to be light.

"Omg finally you are back I was getting worried with the storm and the baby" Caroline said sitting up and unwrapping from her duvet.

"I know right the storm was so sudden" I said putting award my things and changing into my pjs "should we be worried?" I said sitting on Caroline's bed.

"Ohh I know we should call Stefan and Matt to see if they are okay!" Caroline said turning on her phone and calling Stefan.

After a couple of rings Stefan finally answered. "Hey Caroline is it storming there too?" Stefan asked quickly.

"Yea it is" Caroline said back just as quickly "i don't know why but it came so abruptly".

"I don't think its anything we should worry about just yet" Caroline and I sighed in relief "power might go out so be prepared".

"Don't worry Caroline already had that one covered" I said giggling "oh shut up Elena I was just getting prepared" Caroline said lightly smacking my shoulder.

"Okay stay safe, Matt came to stay here for the night" Caroline said bye "I love you Elena" Stefan said.

"I love you too" I replied before we hung up and went to bed.

In the morning I got up and looked out the window. The sky was grey and the trees have changed colors and some leaves have fallen. So far fall has been windy and sunny but things took a quick turn of evens and became cold and almost dark. I woke up Caroline and told her I needed new clothes she shot out of bed excited to do what she loves to do.

Caroline and I got ready to go shopping for new season clothes. I put on my thickest jacket which happened to be a cardigan and a scarf. Caroline happens to have the same thing as me and we left. We took Caroline's car and headed off to the closest shopping plaza.

At the shopping plaza we parked next to out four favorite places which was H and M, Forever 21, Mother Hood, and the food court. Caroline headed to H and M and we bought two pairs do coats and two pairs of jackets each. At forever we bought jeans and two warm shirts.

We stopped by at Mother hood quickly to see if I could use anything from there yet. Still "early" into my pregnancy there was nothing I need yet. I suggested we go to the food court. At the food court Caroline and I went to get pizza.

We found a table and sat down with our pizza. I took a bite of my large pepperoni pizza slice. I looked over at Caroline across from me and saw her wiping her pizza with a napkin. "What are you doing to your pizza?"

"Wiping off all this yucky excess grease" Caroline said taking a bite off her pizza.

"Okay that seems weird but there is no more grease on top your pizza at least" I said doing the same with mines.

The rest of the time spent eating was me thinking and rubbing my stomach over my baby. We left after we ate lunch at 2:00 and went to our dorm. we discussed that tomorrow we have to go to my doctor for more information.

We called Stefan and told him he said he wanted to go and that he is coming around dinner time to stay the night and go with us tomorrow. Caroline went on her laptop doing god knows what and I watched a movie on our tv.

By the time my movie ended it was 5:00 and I ordered Chinese food from egg roll king. I ordered Honey walnut shrimp, general chicken, beef broccoli, cream cheese rangoons, and rice. Seems like a lot but here is three hungry vampires if Stefan knows anything about dinner he would bring money and blood bags.

Thirty minutes later the Chinese food arrived and Caroline and I split the bill. Stefan walked in after the man left and we turned on the movie sixteen candles.

We ate all the food and hopped into bed. Stefan decided to stay in the same bed as me and he cuddled me until we stopped talking and feel asleep.

Ok so the chapter is longer that my others and I just jammed in things that make sense. I want to know what you want me to have more of in the book. This particular chapter had more details and i want to know if you want more drama, dialogue or what ever you want. Lots of time went by from last chapter I want you to know that will rarely happen. I really want all of you to check out my story 'Mistaken Spy' and 'Left Alone' those two are stories for my writing career and i want lots of feedback and reads on the because I want to end up publishing them when i am done.
