The Masked Survivor

Chapter 1

     The wind blew on Ava's mask and through her shirt. ava had looked at the destroyed city were fires had flickered through the air and cars had been flipped over. rodes have been cracked and Ivey have started to grow un the walls of apartments and other buildings, were dead bodies have laid limp on the ground. Ava sighed her breath was a cold puff of smoke in the air. She had done nothing to help anyone from the destruction it happened so fast that she didn't have time to help anyone. Yet shes alone looking over her old home remembering what had happened. 

           Ava had sat in her room looking at her phone. flipping through old photos and texting friends it was until she had heard the screams outside that made her jump. Ava ran over to the window looking out as people ran away in horror from something. A car had been flipped over and the terrified faces had made it worse. Ava clenched with fear holding her phone tightly before jumping to conclusions that they were here. The monsters that took over the wight house, the monsters that she saw on tv. Ava grabbed her mask that her father gave her it was black with blue neon light. Ava put it on hideing her face and black hair, grabbing her bag before running downstairs. "MOM!?" Ava yelled out when she didn't hear an answer fear of her mom already taken haves came to Ava's mind. Ava looked in her mother's bedroom but didn't see her mother. Ava herd the door crack she had shot her head over with fear looking for a place to hide looking over at the covered  Ava jolted over hoping in the dark oke cabinet and shut the door in time when she her the door drake and fall to the ground she watched from the crack watching the creature it stood on two legs with slimy skin the creature had big  green eyes and had sharp teeth like a wolfs the creature sniffed around walking in front of the covered stoping, ava slowed her breathing hoping the creature would not find her  a scream from a lady had ran past the door the creature looked over and ran out the door after the lady ava had opened the covered door slowly hopping out and going out the door  hiding ally ways and behind walls moving out of the city 

    months have past and ava have'nt went back in the city  today she had to find food and even some kind of weapons she had gusted her mask than walked down the road being aware of her surroundings for the creatures which she called them bitters since they were always hungry for some kind of flesh Ava looked around as she entered the city it was more horrible Ava steped over a mans body a dry pool of blood surounded him and his face was rotten Ava frowned at the sight as she walked on it was quiet and Ava had walked to once she called the supermarket but insted the sighn was broken and vines had grown all over the building and brokens windows had sharp egeas Ave walked up to the wide opened door walking in it was silent whne ava looked around the selfs but nothing had deen left not evan spices everything was gone shoping carts had deen scattered around the store the wall was broken from a bitter, dust had been on the floor and spiderweds had stunge agenst shelves Ava had no luck finding a thing she had walked through the broken wall maybe "maybe this was a bad idea" Ava spoke to herself, she usally did since everyone she seen that survived wanted to kill her she never got a group or have seen people for weeks, as ava walked down the street again she fall into a suddle stop when she herd a gun shot in the distance and a loud screech of a bitter Ava reatched for her pistole witch was black and silver she dident have much amuniton but she was going to use it if she had too 

    Ava duck around an ally way as she her the big thuds of a bitter Ava had looked around the corner to see the bitter, but this bitter was different its skin was the same slimy as the one she seen months ago but this bitter had red crystals coming out of his neck they glowed and the bitters eyes were red sharp spikes ran down his spine. the bitter screeched in pain as ava notice the bitter had a wounded leg "John keep up or we are going to lose it" a voice had yelled out  Ava fell still as the bitter turned around its skin glowed red "witch out!" the voice yelled out again and the bitter had opened his mouth with fire coming out, the fire was hot Ava reached in her bag looking for something she had killed an ice bitter but never seen a fire one she thought of how she had  with the ice bitter she looked for her bottle of water as she reached in and grabbed it out  Ava grabbed her bag and grabbed her pistol running behind the bitter shooting it in the back the bitter turned around looking at Ava "come on" ava grinned as the bitter had ran over too her ava opened the bottled of water and waited the bitter screeched and as he did Ava had threw the bottled of water in the bitters mouth

     the bittter had stoped chookeing trying to ceatche his breath the bitters eyes changes from red to a dim gray and the crystals stoped glowing and the beast fell to the ground with a thud Ava looked at the bitter befor looking up at three guys they had looked at Ava with aw notice the wind pick up and the smell of water it was going to rain soon Ava backed up and one of the guys steped forward Ava aimed her pistal at the guy "john" one of the guy with drown hair had called out to the guy "but... we will not hurt you" guy said Ava hevally breathed " im not looking for a fight im just trying to survive" Ava spoke loud and clear the guys gave glares amoung one another some more footsteps were behind Ava she stoped aimeing at the guys and looking behind her seeing the fur coats of a scavenger Ava had to get out of here befor she would get killed
