ok sorry abou the blue highlight thing it was on there when i wrote it then disapeared onced I'd published
I come back to reality as my friend taps me on the shoulder.
"I hear she hasn't open her eyes since what happen. Can't blame her after what see went through. I wouldn't want to open them too." I follow her line of sight to Kate. I watch as she runs he hand over her book which could only be in Braille. "After what happen she wouldn't let anyone touch her. Not family, not friends, even one of the doctors got a bloody nose after trying to take her temperature. They had to sedate her whenever they need to do anything. No matter how much they pleaded she would let them touch her." I couldn't imagine that. Of course afterwards I was afraid, but not like that.
"What happened?!" I ask. I already knew but I knew Lucy like to be the know it all.
She looks over at Kate then replied.
"Her family began to draw symbols and shapes on her hands and arms telling her who they were.” I look over at Kate and see Catherine with her hand over hers. To strangers it might look unusual, but to us, we know Catherine’s simply comforting her. A silent guardian, stopping her from freaking out, keeping her calm.
The teacher walks into the room and begins the role. She gets to Kate.
"Here" she says in a voice so loud and clear. In a tone that suggest there was nothing that could scare her. I remember that tone so well. So well...........
