Serena's POV
Everybody tells me that love is waiting for me. I for one know for a fact, that is bogus. Like this isn't some fairy tail where all your dreams and ambitions become a reality. This is the real world and that kind of stuff is just to give people hope.

My dad would always read me stories about Disney princesses and I was completely obsessed. I always pictured me finding my Prince Charming waiting to ask me to dance at the ball where all Noble people would go.

The difference is that I didn't find my Prince Charming at a ball. I found him in a forest while I was lost.

Chocolate brown eyes, messy raven hair and a grin that could provide the next generation of the human race with light.

I met this Prince at Professor Oak's summer camp. I never liked camp and the only reason I was there was because my parents decided to split up. My mom sent me to the camp as an excuse to get me out of the house while my parents deal with their relationship problems.

I met my Prince while I was lost in the forest just outside camp. I tripped on a log and hurt my leg. I was already in tears. I was just that pathetic.

Out of nowhere the bush began to shake and I prepared myself to face the wolf pack from Beauty and the Beast. But, no.

Out came a boy. Not just any boy. A boy that held my heart together. A boy that was the sun of my solar system. A boy that gave me a reason to keep moving and not just break down and cry like I always do. He wasn't just any boy.

Ashton Ketchum was the first and only boy I had ever fallen in love with. He was also the only boy to have broken my heart.
