Adam's pov:
"Adam! You better get your worthless butt down here or else I'll hit you again!" It's my mom again. Ever since she found out that I'm gay, shes been abusing me. I hear her run up the stairs. Thank goodness that I locked my bedroom door, because it gave me some time to think about what to do. I look out my window, all I see is my childhood trampoline, which was right under the window. I suddenly got an idea. I grabbed my guitar, music sheet book and recording gear, put it in a bag and threw it out the window. I then jumped out, landing on the trampoline,which got me to the ground safely. As soon as I landed, I quickly started to run towards James' house. I could hear my mom sceam one more thing that made me break down while running to James's house...
