Regrets

"Eren! Eren!" The raven haired teen called, running towards her boyfriend. He was with a couple of other boys, but she didn't care, all she cared about was that she was with him. She grabbed hold of his arm, and nuzzled into it softly.

"Uhhh...Hi Mika." He said, embarrassed a little. The boys looked at each other and snickered, whispering inaudible words they couldn't make out. Eren pulled his arm from Mikasa strong grip, making her hunch forward a little. 

"Well see ya later, Eren" They mused, before leaving, along with their loud laughs. Mikasa smiled towards Eren, trying to grip his hand to hold it, but he moved it away.

"Eren do you wanna walk to class together?" She smiled, pecking a kiss on his sun-kissed cheeks. He blushed slightly.

"Uhh...sure." He said, and began to walk to their next class. Their classrooms were right next to each other, so they would walk there, while Mikasa loved it. The hall was still crowded a bit, and Mikasa caught a glimpse of the person she didn't want to see, Annie. Annie gave her a death stare, and quietly followed behind her and Eren. When they made it to the two classrooms, Mikasa gave Eren a loving smile.

"Love you Eren! See you at Lunch?" She said, while Eren slowly looked away.

"Yeah..." He whispered quietly, and hurried into class. She then walked into class, with Annie quietly behind her. She sat down at her desk, when her phone dinged. It was Annie...

Annie: Why haven't you figured it out yet? Are you that dumb?

Mikasa: Figured out what? I'm not dumb!

Annie: Eren doesn't want to be with you! He wants someone who's pretty, not clingy, and not fat or ugly!

Mikasa left Annie on read, and cleared her mind from her harsh words. She always ignored her so easily, because as long as she had Eren...nothing else mattered. She smiled to herself, even thinking about Eren made her happy, and when he was distant from her she thought he was playing a game with her or something. Annie's the one who's dumb, why would he accept her if he didn't want her. In class she had free time, so she decided to text Eren, since he was always on his phone.

Mikasa: Hi Eren!

Eren: Hey Mikasa...can I talk to you...at lunch?

Mikasa: Of course, are you okay?

He left her on read, making her anxious, but she calmed herself down by taking a few deep breaths. She shivered, her body turning ice cold for some reason. 'Nothing can go wrong! Were in love after all!' She thought, smiling again. The bell finally rang, and Mikasa bolted out, but got a text from Eren, making her come to halt.

Eren: Meet me at the cherry blossom tree.

Mikasa: Okay

They cherry tree was where Mikasa confessed to him, he was so sweet to her, they even kissed. She ran faster and faster, wanting to get there as soon as possible. She finally got to the tree, seeing Eren's figure emerge from behind the tree. She put a bright smile on her face, but he wouldn't smile.

"Hi Eren! What did you want to talk about?" She asked, her voice high-pitched, and little kid sounding even though she was 15. Eren looked down slightly, his face looked a bit pale, and he was fidgeting his hands in his pockets. 

"Eren?" She asked, getting closer to him, but he pushed her away from him.

"Mikasa...I..listen we can't.." He stuttered, turning away from her. Mikasa got a sinking feeling, but she tried to make it positive.

"What? You can't...sit with me at lunch? Walk me to school..." She trailed off...

"Mikasa..."

"Can't walk me to class...can't-"
