Luka smiles over at his pregnant wife.  He imagines the patter of little feet in the house as the little one walks toward them.  He intends to show his little boy or girl that he loves them.

Five years later, Luka smiles as his son asks, "Daddy, could you teach me to play guitar?"

Luka answers, "Yes, son, I would be glad to teach you how to play it."

Marinette beams at her husband and son. She is happy to see how well those two get along.

"Darling, I need to tell you something," Marinette says.

"Mommy's belly has a baby brother or sister in it!" Joey blurts out.

"Marinette, are you pregnant?" Luka asks.

"Yes, I sure am darling!" Marinette replies happily.

A few months later, they find out the baby in her womb is a girl. They name her Kiera after Luka's aunt. They cannot wait until her arrival.

Two years into the future, Kiera pouts when Marinette drops Joey off at his second-grade class. She cannot understand why she cannot go to school too.

Ten years go by fast, now Kiera is in the sixth grade, and Joey is a junior in high school.

Marinette and Luka look at their teen and pre-teen proud to be their parents.

Kiera goes to her locker  where she encounters trouble from an older student. A seventh grader tries to kiss her. She sighs in relief when Troy comes to her rescue.

Troy glares at Tony in annoyance. He cannot believe that the guy tries to put the moves on Kiera.

Joey witnesses the whole thing but promises not to tell anyone. Kiera is glad because it would embarrass her if word got out her crush came to her aid.  She does not need that kind of humiliation at her age.

After school, Troy walks Kiera home as Joey looks on in amusement. He thinks it is a shame those two  do not seem to notice they like each other.  He shakes his head at the silliness of it all.

Joey excuses himself to his room to work on homework. Kiera waves good-bye to Troy, and he blushes.

Marinette and Luka decide it is time they talk with their daughter. They do not want to see her get hurt.

        The end...
