"Was it really worth it? Your spot on the team meant everything to you!" She signed quickly.
I tried to keep up. I struggled to follow her sometimes since I have only been doing sign language for a few months.
"I knew the conciquences before I threw the first punch! No one should talk to you like that!" I signed back to her drastically slower.
"I know and I appreciate that but it wasn't worth losing your scholarships over!" Elania finished. I could see the worry in her eyes grow.
"No. Elania you are worth it. You're more important to me than so spot on a team. Even if I could have gotten a free ride to college." I finished signing and then mouthed the words, I love you.
With tears now beginning to form in her big, green eyes; she did the same thing back. I love you too.
I smiled a little and wiped the tear of of her cheek. Then, I wrapped my arms around her sides and pulled her in closer. She looked up at me. We locked eyes for a few seconds. Elania laid her head on my chest and began to cry. I kissed the top of her beautiful redhaired head.
That's when everything feel apart. At that exact moment, both of our lives just got about 100 times harder.
"Jaxon!? Is that you?" The voice yelled.
