I don't know if you could tell, but I was a bit mad.
Everything was just such a mess and I was tired of trying to always fix everything. That's why I said what had to be said.
I wasn't proud of it but I wasn't going to stand there, without doing a thing, and watch people play with me like I was their property.
Honestly I didn't even care about what was going to happen next. I just wanted to go home, find my bed, and sleep.
I was really tired of my messed up life, everything seemed to be falling apart.
I walked through the door of my house, threw my keys on the kitchen counter, and immediately went upstairs where my room was.
I decided to take a hot shower, hoping that it could help me clear my thoughts, and honestly it did.
I got out of the bathroom, put on something to sleep and crawled under my blanket.
I was falling asleep when suddenly my phone rang.
Tired, I turned my lights on and immediately regretted it. I started rubbing my eyes after the exceptional 6-minute nap I just got.
I unlocked my phone and realized it was a message from a person I didn't know. Well a person that wasn't in my contacts.
What would someone send me a message at this time?
Okay it wasn't that late but after what I've been through today, honestly I just wanted to sleep. Even if it was 7pm.
I managed to find the strength to click on the bottom right corner of my phone where the messages icon was.
I opened the message and started reading it.
" Hi Jessica, it's me Naomi.
I'm sorry to bother you but I wanted to know if you would like to go out and grab something to eat real quick? To be honest we haven't really got the chance to know each other. And of course if you don't want to, don't worry I completely understand. "
I smiled to myself. To be honest that was kind of cute.
But what would a person like her want to do anything with me? What if she just want to play with me like other people did?
Jeez
Okay I definitely needed some air. I had to stop being paranoid. And that couldn't be that bad, at least I would get a free meal. That's something I can't refuse.
I took my phone and send her a quick message to let her know that we could meet in front of the cafeteria where we first met.
" Hi Naomie, no don't worry we could go get something to eat! Meet me where we first met in 20 minutes. See you! "
Wait, now that I think about it, doesn't it sounds like a date?
" [] we haven't really got the chance to know each other "
Why would she suddenly think about wanting to know me better?
Oh oh
I didn't want to think it was some kind of date but something was telling me that it could be one.
Do I have to dress nicer or anything what the hell
To hell with it, that's not a date stop it Jess
I decided to take one of my grey sweaters, my black skinny jeans and my pair old grey vans to match the top.
I also took a black scarf because I was really, like really sensitive to the cold and today wasn't one of the sunny days.
I went downstairs where the kitchen was and poor myself a cup of coffee because I was still feeling a little tired.
I sat on my couch and savored my coffee while watching the tv.
I had 10 minutes left and I knew I would be late because the cafeteria was like 2 minutes away from where I lived.
After I finished drinking my coffee, I quickly washed the cup and place it where it was.
I took the keys that were on the kitchen counter and then left the house, closing the door behind me.
I instantly felt the cold wind on my skin.
Thanks God I took the scarf
