I guess now that I've posted the part that's "dark", I should inform anyone reading this story that this story gets dark.
At least three times.
It's not things that would make this story mature (in my opinion), and I plan to handle the situations as responsibly as possible. The bad things aren't glorified and they will eventually be dealt with in an uplifting manner for the reader and the main character. Regardless, I will say it gets... "real" quickly. The world can be a dark and scary place, therefore my story will get dark and possibly scary.
