"Hey Jimin, promise me that we'll stay close no matter what comes our way!"
"Of course Kookie! Always and forever"
When me and Jimin were 12 years old, we decided to make a promise to protect our friendship towards one another. We both cared deeply about each other and wished that it would remain that way til we die together. Both our mother's were friends in high school so it was pretty easy to stay together.
I'm 4 months younger than Jimin so when my mother gave birth to me she and Jimins mother wanted us to play together a lot. We became very close ever since.
I would visit Jimin every week or he would visit me.
We saw each other at school, of course.
"Hey Kookie, what's your first hour class?" Asked Jimin as soon as we got our new schedules for 8th grade. "I got class 206, you?" I asked. "Fuck, I got 209" Jimin said with disappointment. "Don't worry Chimchim, maybe we have other classes together" I said.
"I have class 304" Said Jimin. "Yes! I have it too!" I yelled in excitement. "Yay! One class down!" Said Jimin. I always loved it when Jimin smiled. When you look at it, your day could be all sunshine and rainbows when your feeling down. "Alright, after my second hour class, I have Choir" Said Jimin. "Glad we both signed up for choir then, hahaha" I laughed.
Both me and Jimin had a love for singing ever since we were kids.
We always sang together and our parents encouraged us to become a duo one day, but we both agreed that fame would be too much and bring us away from each other.
"Hey Kookie, what should we do when we get older, like 18?" Asked Jimin.
"I don't know, what were you thinking?" I asked.
"I've been reading about lots of exciting and adventurous places, like Hawaii, Japan, the U.S and much more" Jimin said excitedly. "Woah, it sure does sound interesting" I said with a smile. "Let's go travel the world one day, maybe we might find another place that fits our taste. We're missing on a whole new world" Said Jimin.
