Chapter 1
~Kellin~
"Kellin, are you up yet?" I hear Katelynne, my wife, ask from the bathroom. I look at the alarm clock- 5:30 A.M.
"What day is it?" I ask.
"It's Tuesday. Your World Tour starts today. Remember?"
"Oh yeah."
I climb out of bed and walk into the bathroom to find Katelynne doing her makeup. "You look beautiful without makeup on, too, you know?"
She smiles, "You've said that so many times."
"Only because it's true." I hug her and she sighs. "What's wrong?"
"I just don't want you to leave." She says, "It seems like only yesterday you got back from your last tour."
"I promise that I will talk to you every night." I reply and then ask: "Is Copeland still asleep?"
"I think so. Why don't you go check?"
I walk out of the bathroom, out of the bedroom, into the hall and to Copeland's room. I peak my head into her room and see her bed empty. My heart leaps with worry.
"Copeland?" I call out.
"Daddy!" her voice comes from the kitchen. I quickly move to the kitchen and see Copeland on the floor with flour all over her.
"What were you doing?" I ask and pick her up.
"I was going to make you breakfast but the flour went everywhere!"
"Aw thank you, sweetheart."
I carry her to the bathroom and say, "Looks like we're going to have to clean her up first."
"Why don't you go ahead and go and I'll meet you there?" Katelynne says.
"Okay." I kiss Copeland then Katelynne on the cheek. "Love you guys!"
"I love you Daddy!" Copeland says.
I smile and go back into the bedroom and quickly change into an American flag shirt; a pair of black skinny jeans then slip into my tan TOMS. I grab my phone and wallet, slip them into my back pocket, then grab my sunglasses and suitcase. "Bye!" I call and they call back: "Bye!"
I head out to my car and start driving to the airport.

"Hey, look! It's Kellin!" I hear Mike say as I approach them at the airport.
"It's about time you showed up." Tony says and I grin.
"I'm not late." I say, "Where's Vic?"
"He went to go get food." Jaime replies.
I nod and put my suitcase down.
"Where's Katelynn? I thought she was coming here with you." Tony asks.
"She had to bathe Copeland." I reply.
I look around and see Justin, Gabe and Jack heading this way. I feel my phone vibrate and look at it. Katelynne is calling. "Hey, I gotta take this." I say and walk off. I answer it, "Hey."
"I'm on the way. I just dropped Copeland off at school." Katelynne says.
"Okay. Why did you call though? Not that anything is wrong with that, I'm just curious."
"No reason in particular."
"I have to go." I say, seeing Justin wave at me.
"Okay. I love you."
"Love you too." I say and hang up. I walk back to the guys. "Hey Vic." I say, noticing that he has arrived.
"Hey Kellin." he says softly. I shrug and take the bag of food from him. He looks up at me with those beautiful brown eyes of his. What am I thinking? His eyes are just brown. Nothing else. "Why did you do that?" he asks.
"Because I'm hungry and sharing is caring." I say simply and eat one of his fries. His lips slowly form a smile. I grab his drink, "What's this?"
"Chocolate shake...one of your favorites." he says the last part shyly, like it's a crime almost to know one of my favorite drinks. "I got a drink for everyone."
What's going on with Vic? He's acting different. More....shy than usual. "Thanks." I say and hug him. I feel him tensen when I hug him but he slowly relaxes as I pull back.
"Kellin!" I hear Katelynne call. I turn and see her walking towards me. I see Vic walk towards Mike and stand behind him.
"Hey." I say as she reaches me.
"We have to go in one minute. Make it quick!" Gabe says.
She laughs and hugs me, "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too. Tell Copeland that I said that I will miss her."
"Call me when you get there." She doesn't ask it. She has more of a demanding tone, which is odd for her.
"I will."
"Come on dude!" Jack says.
"Bye." I say and kiss her goodbye. She kisses back like it's the last time we'll ever kiss.
