When they arrived at a Noosa Villa, the staff were waiting for them. Yue ran and hugged Zi Xin and Zi Le. Dylan shook Thomas and Qing He's hands. "How are you doing, friend? Your hair is still so long, buddy!" Thomas laughed. "It's the trend. I was told that eveyone will arrive today.""Yes, at separate times. Right now it's us and my manager, Ying-jie. You have also met Hao-ge right?" Thomas smiled and shook their hands. "Let me get your bags and show you your rooms."
Yue was chatting with the twins. "Yue-jie, you look so beautiful. And He Di-ge looks good too. We are so excited that you picked out villa for your wedding." Zi Le gushed.
Yue smiled. "We love this place and of course I want Grandpa Han to witness our union. Where is he?"
"He's resting in his room. Why don't you go see him? He's expecting you." Zi Xin said. Yue nodded and saw that Dylan was busy with the luggages. "Please tell Didi that I'm with grandpa."
She knew the place by heart and went straight to his room on the ground floor.
"Grandpa Han, it's me, Yue.""Come in."
Yue opened the door and rushed to hug Grandpa. He was sitting on his wheelchair looking out to the patio. "Grandpa, I missed you. How are you?"
Grandpa smiled and patted her hand. "Never been better. I'm so happy that you are getting married in Noosa."
"We will never forget where we first started. I made a promise to you remember" Yue said softly trying hard to control her tears.
"My child, I know you are doing this for me, aren't you?" Yue looked at him. Does he know? How would he know?
Then, Grandpa Han sighed. "I know myself. I'm ready to go anytime."
"Don't say that grandpa," Yue was alarmed. He chuckled. "There is nothing fearful about death if you know where you're going after that. I count it a miracle that I can witness your wedding." Yue did not know what to say so she hugged him again. "Anything for you, Grandpa."
When she left him, she met Dylan at the lobby, talking to Zi Xin. "Didi...." she called out. He took one look at her before he excused himself and took her arm. "Grandpa seemed to know that our wedding is not real. Did you tell him?" He shook his head.
"When I saw him just now, I know we're doing the right thing, be it real or not. I'm sorry I was upset with you earlier." She looked down at her feet.
He cupped her chin and smiled. "Forgiven. How can I not forgive my little white pig?" She smacked his arm. He laughed and pulled her close. "I will bunk in with Xi Ze tonight. Ma said I should not see you before the wedding."
Their parents arrived shortly after they landed and was escorted to their rooms to rest. Yue smiled. "Or you boys just want to have a stag's night?"
"Eh, how did you know?" He grinned. "Wang He Di, you're just too transparent" sticking out her tongue at him. Yue felt much better now, and hope she would be that way until the wedding is over.
The boys and Jia Qi arrived later in the afternoon at Noosa. Xi Zi being the first time in Hualien was super excited. "Wow, this place is just beautiful. Do we have time to do a tour in the town?" he asked Jia Qi. She nodded "It's a free day today so you guys do what you want. Yue and I will be just chilling out here and do spa treatment maybe." She pulled Yue's arm "Let's go, Yue!"
Yue looked at Dylan longingly as he motioned her that it's okay. "I will message you later" he mouthed. She nodded. For the first time since they reunited, she felt lost without him.
