"Axel? What am I? Where am I? What am I doing here? Why am I here in the clinic? What happened to me?"
"You fainted hours ago and-"
"I fainted? How? Why-"
"You need to rest."
"I need to rest?"
"That's what Ms. Nurse said."
"Why? How did this happen?"
"Let me tell you the whole story."
The whole story? What happened to me? Why do I have a sore headache? I just pinched myself and I fainted? How in the-
"Alaura? Are you listening?"
"Of course I am."
"Good. Now, where will I start? Ah, of course. While you and Haela were giggling, I already noticed that you were holding your head. I was so concerned, so I tried to get your attention by smiling at you. And-"
Axel? Trying to get my attention? That's ridiculous! My attention was at him all the time. I... my head... it feels painful.
"Alaura? Are you okay?"
"Yes?"
"That happened to you."
"What that?"
"You keep holding your head. Miss Nurse!"
A nurse came in as I blacked out completely.
"Dear?"
"Mom?"
"Are you alright?"
"I... my head..... it hurts."
"When I found out what happened to you, I was so worried about you. You're so lucky Axel was here with you."
"So, it wasn't a dream?"
"What kind of dream are you talking about my dear?"
"Oh, nothing mom."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, mom."
"Okay, if you say so. Now drink your medicine, so you'll get better."
"Okay, mom."
Okay, this day is weird. I was in a clinic, then I am now in our bedroom. Time flies rapidly. You'll never know when you'll wake up, especially when you have a severe, well, I don't know. I think I'm sick, and my head hurts a lot. I think I'll just sleep because it's nighttime already, but I'm hungry.
"Mom?"
"Yes, dear?"
"Can I have dinner in bed?"
"Well of course dear."
"Thanks, mom."
While I was eating dinner, I asked Mom a lot of questions.
"Mom?"
"Yes, dear?"
"What did Axel say about me, I mean, about what happened to me?"
"Oh, that boy. He may be new, but he's an angel."
"What do you mean, mom?"
"Well, first of all, he helped you when you fainted-"
"Uh-huh?"
"Then he carried you to the clinic-"
"Did he say that to you?"
"No, dear. Your best friend Haela told everything about what happened to you."
"What did she say about me?"
"She said that as you fainted, she almost panicked, but Axel caught you in his arms right in time."
"Then?"I asked while eating rice.
"He brought you to the clinic and stayed there with you. He waited until you woke up and called Ms. Nurse as you were feeling so bad. After that, we brought you home."
Wow, he waited for me to wake up? It's his first day in school, and he waited for me? To wake up? But, what if he missed class because of me? What if our teacher scolded him for not going to class on his first day? What if-
"Did you finish eating, dear?"
"Yes, mom."
As I ate the last piece of broccoli, mom called our nanny.
"Miss Fely?"
"Yes, Madam Aurora?"
"Can you please bring those to the kitchen?" mom calmly said as she points at my finished dinner.
"Of course, Madam Aurora." nanny said as she took it away.
I feel sleepy already. I think I should sleep. I think if I'll close my eyes and dream about-
