Delicious it will be, I thought while looking at everyone whose holding the rainbow colored candy with a smile on their face. It is what happiness look like I wonder, joyful and at peace. I never had one in my life but I always wanted to.Sometimes I thought it's for the good, sometimes I blame my inability, it's not like everyone can get a hand on it.
Sometimes I felt sad because I couldn't have chance to get it and one of my friends used to notice this,One day He came and sat beside me and told me
"it is not that wonderful.Yeah it will taste good,No it will taste better. it will be the delicious thing you ever tasted". He paused for a second and continued."But you know, you only see the upside, Not everyone have the chance to devour it fully and the pain when someone takes it away from you is indescribable"
He looked at me took deep breath and said "I have known you for sometime and I tell you this, be happy that you haven't had a taste of it, yes, it's little sad but you have not yet realised how lucky you are, open your eyes and you will know."He patted my shoulder and left with smile which reflected the pain he been through.
I may not be able to grasp fully of what he tried to convey me, but I could understand a little.Yet, even then, my silly little heart wanted to know how it will be to taste that lovely candy that everyone is so fond of.
I just hope it happens one way or another.
After all we are humans, we are driven by desire, aren't we.
