TMNT - We're meant to be together!

Ch. 6

Four hours went by and while Christopher and Vee were preparing for the guests Leo wanted to help but Vee had told him that he should just rest and watch a bit television. Which he did and found a comedy which was pretty funny for him Vee was making the dessert she finished making the food since they will be staying for dinner they had already had lunch about a few hours ago.

Vee was dressed in a nice sleeveless violet shirt with black jeans with black pumps. She had her hair in a high ponytail and she was wearing the necklace Leo gave her for her birthday two days ago. Leo saw her in the beautiful clothes and always took a glance but would look away whenever Vee looked over towards him but then looked back when he knew that she went back to what she was doing.

Leo smiled and went back to watch the comedy and laughed at a good part of the show. Vee just finished making the dessert and puts it in the fridge she wanted to clean up but Christopher stopped her, "Why don't you go watch with Leonardo, granddaughter you had work long enough in preparing for our guests you deserve a break." He said with a smile Vee was pretty surprise but didn't argue and went over to watch TV with Leo. Christopher smiled and then quickly went to clean the kitchen since he didn't have anything else to do.

Vee walked over to the couch where Leo was watching and he was enjoying himself. She smiled and then sat next to him who made him look at her surprise. Vee knew that he was looking at her in surprise but was focus on the show and she laughs a bit at the characters that did random or funny things. Leo turns back at the show and continues to watch and also laughed at the characters. "You like this show too?" He turns to see Vee looking at him interested with a smile Leo looked at the show and then back at her nodding Vee giggled, "Me too I watch this show when I was a little kid when I was in the city." Vee said turning back to the television.

"You were in the city?" He asked Vee nodded and looked at him, "Yeah I was...but that was whenever grandfather and I would go and get supplies or when he needs to go away for a while and I had to stay with my uncle." Vee said with a bit of a grim on her face when she'd mention of her uncle, Leo was curious about why she gave a grim look, "You didn't like your uncle?" He asked Vee closed her eyes with a sigh and opened them again, "I didn't just like my uncle...I hated him when my aunt died in an accident when I was 8 he always blamed me for her death. He was cruel and very abusive to me whenever I would have to stay with him and my cousin which I didn't like as well." Vee said as she brought her leg up close to her placing her chin on her knee when she reminded herself of her horrible, abusive uncle.

Leo was shock that Vee was abuse by her uncle and cousin but it was more likely her uncle that abused her which made him angry. But he took a deep breath and calm down he looked up to see Vee had tears in her eyes. He scoots up closer to her bringing her into a side hug. "What did he and your cousin do to you?" Leo asked wanting to know what pain did that horrible man to her. Vee didn't look up as she was thinking of those times when her uncle would have abuse her if she did the slightest thing that would annoy him.

Vee sighed since Leo asked her and she knew this was going to be hard for her, "Whenever I had to stay with him and my cousin he would treat me like I'm a slave and told me I had to do this or that. If it wasn't perfect he would hit me and tell me I had to do it again or if I asked or said something small he would hit me and tell me to go to my room...my cousin had little care for me and would tell me I'm stupid, ugly or call me a freak. But it wasn't just the physical abuse but also mental they would tell me things that I wasn't and I only realize that when I turned ten. Whenever my uncle would try to abuse me physically or mentally I would fight back or argue with him or my cousin." Vee told Leo about how her uncle and cousin was to her which made Leo angry in hearing how they were to him but he stayed calm and listened.

"But then...one night when I was fifteen I was asleep in my room but I was a light sleeper luckily it was close to morning where grandfather would pick me up early morning. He knew that my uncle was abusive to me when I onetime came home with a bruise on my neck and a black eye when I was eleven and he said when I would be old enough to live on my own that I didn't have to live with him anymore. My uncle came into my room trying to be quiet as possible but I already knew that he was in my room. Then I suddenly felt him on me I started to struggle to get him off and tried to scream but he covered my mouth with his hand he looked angry and slapped me across my face trying to get me to be silent. But I didn't and fought he had tried something that I would never forgive him..." Vee said as tears formed as she was coming to the hard part of her abuse which Leo saw that she hated him for.
