MarcusI tried to shift my expression from its nervous state to a more neutral one. He looked me up and down before letting out another chuckle.
"Just give me my food, Brett." I tried to grab the boxes from his hand. I ordered pizza with wings and cheesy garlic bread.
"Just a minute," he snatched the food back before I could grab it. The annoyance on my face began to shine through.
"Why didn't I know you lived in such a nice neighborhood? Are your parents rich or something?" He shoved the food in my hands and pushed himself inside.
My eyes rolled shutting the door behind me. I placed the food on the side table by the door and followed closely behind him.
"Can you leave? Who do you think you are, just walking around my house like this?" I could feel the veins in my head beginning to pop and the appetite in my stomach disappearing.
"Who do you think you're talking to, nerd?" He stepped into my face giving me a challenging look.
I stepped up to him as well not letting the inner fear in my soul break loose. "I'm talking to you, so take the money and get out of my house," I spoke quietly, but sternly. The eye contact we held refused to falter.
We stood for a few moments before he snatched the money from my hands and left.
I released the breath I didn't realize I was holding. I went to the food I had left by the door and brought it over to the living room. My appetite had returned when I opened the box and revealed the pineapple goodness in front of me.
Hawaiian Pizza will always be superior.
I finished my food while watching a few episodes. Sleep had overcome me. I was out within the next ten minutes.

"Let's go, Amir! You got this!" I screamed for my brother. I stood in the stands for this college football game. This game was packed, it was the biggest game of the year. This game determines our ranking before playoffs. With a win, it would we would be in 1st and if we lose we'll be in 4th.
My parents sat a few rows behind me as I opted to be closer and be myself. My father can get a little bit embarrassing when showing his spirit.
I ignored the glares I was getting from the other girls around me. I wore my brother's jersey and had his number painted on my face. These weird-ass girls must think I'm his girl or something.
The game was close, we were in the third quarter and we had possession of the ball. The scoreboard was still 0-0 and both sides of the stadium were up and bustling. We were third and ninth and we're going in for a touchdown. My eyes watched Amir on the field. His legs were shaking and his fingers were opening and closing. I could feel the excitement and anxiousness for the touchdown in his soul.
I was almost jumping in the same excitement. The play started and he was off. He ran a clear uninterrupted sprint to the end zone. The quarterback passed the ball in his direction, all eyes were on the ball. Silence rose through the stands as it began to descend.
A defender began to cover my brother as he tried to move towards the ball. Amir's body jumped up and caught the ball resulting in the first touchdown of the game.
