Y/N's POV
I wake up seeing the lonely ceiling staring at me through my soul. I guess you can say it's funny that I wake up so early knowing that I start class after 5 more hours.

I mostly use my time just wondering what I'll do today, not that I'll even follow what I plan. Hoping that I wouldn't bump into the most self obsessed person in the whole high school department.

She says she goes through many schedules of her "golfing appointments". I don't even think she does golf. She's mostly known as the princess of our school. To be honest, I don't see what the guys like about her except the fact that she has a nice body.

I mean, don't get me wrong, she can be the model for our batch. Anyways, I'm staring at the ceiling until suddenly my alarm clock rings. It turns out I've been staring for 2 hours already.

* 3 Hours Later *
I'm dressed in my uniform with dripping wet hair. I know... I woke up so early but rushing to school. I'm not late, they're just too early. It's 7:15 but assembly starts at 8:05.

I'm in the bus stop waiting for the bus (obviously). It's 7:31 already. I'm panicking already. The bus finally stopped and I got in but it's 7:37 already. I guess it's fine for me to be late since I'll lose nothing. I don't need to worry about losing grades since my grades aren't that high or low.

I'm standing right now beside a guy who's armpit smells so 😑. Don't worry, I got my skirt longer than the usual.

* BUS STARTS MOVING *
The bus moves and I trip over a huge bag which somewhat looks like a dark log. I'm caught by a guy wearing a black mask.
"Thank You... I didn't see it, Sorry", I said awkwardly. I'm not so sure if he tried to say something since I couldn't hear it clearly.

* 10 Minutes Later *
I noticed that the masked guy kept glancing at me. I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. He stood up and went towards me saying something. All I could hear were muffled sounds. "Sit on my place. It's dangerous for a girl like you to be standing near a guy now that your in a skirt." He said surprisingly. "As if your not my age..." I mumbled. " I don't know how old you are and it's fine if it will remain that way, just accept my offer for the seat. And it's very dangerous that a guy has direct access to grabbing you.", he says in a warning kind of way. " Fine, I'll just sit FOR AWHILE." I said.

* A FEW MINUTES LATEIGH *
I wake up hearing a scream of a woman who seems my age. " I told you." The masked guy said so calmly yet his posture looked as if he was protecting me. " You would've been the one the man would eye on." He said. I just realized that the man pulling the woman was the man I was standing near to. " Thank you." I said plainly. " You owe me." He said. " Don't worry, I'll make up for it when I see you again!" I said without hesitation.

* MINUTES LATER *
I realized I was late but no one would care. Our teacher would just tell us to stay outside and look for the head coordinator for a signature on why we were late. Lucky for me, the head coordinator is my mom. She doesn't drop me nor pick me up from school because she wants me to be independent.

* THE BUS STOPS 2 BLOCKS AWAY FROM SCHOOL *
I got off the bus and so did the masked guy. I stopped for a bit to think of an excuse as to why I'm late. Simple, being honest, it was traffic. I noticed that the masked guy removed his jacket only to reveal our school uniform. He stopped and asked," Are you following me?". How stupid can you be not realizing that you have the same uniform as him, I said to myself. " No, I'm not following you. I'm going to school." I said without expression.

* IN CLASS *
I gave my seat and sat by my desk. I liked my spot. It was at the back, by the window, and it had an empty seat beside me so that I could lay down for a bit. The teacher comes in the class which causes the whole class to settle down. I get surprised to see the masked guy standing beside our teacher. I guess it's fine because he's not the only person who wears masks, but I noticed they had the same bag.

"Class, he will be your new classmate starting today until the end of the school year." The teacher says looking at each students' reaction. He removes his mask, everyone's eyes widened. Obviously the girls already like him. I looked at my desk and noticed that I left my pen outside. Our Math teacher is very strict, so I asked permission to go out. The last words I heard was "Hi, My name is...".

I went back to the classroom in a few minutes. He was seated beside my chair. I have no idea how to start a proper conversation. I approached my desk and asked him if he could move to the next chair beside it because I wanted to be by the window. He didn't answer and didn't move. So I just sat down but still stared at the window. He looked at me then turned his chair completely looking at me.

"You're the girl in the bus right?"
