The Cullens

Loren's POV:

I was in my room doing my make-up when I heard a car coming up the road. Knowing who was on their way, I instant got up and ran out the front door as three cars pulled up.

"Em! Jaz!" I cheered, running over to them as Emmett picked me up and spinned me around before putting me down and Jasper did the same.

"How are you munchkin?" Emmett asked making me pout, knowing I hated that nickname.

"Hey, don't pick on me because I'm short compared to you. You do know I'm older than you, right?" I frowned.

"Yeah, I know. But what's the fun if I can't pick on my favorite cousin." Emmett laughed.

"Now, Emmett, be nice to your cousin. We are their guests." Esme scolded before giving me her warmest smile. Esme has been like another mother to me after our mother was killed, I just never left with Carlisle and Esme because I felt like my sisters needed me. It's been just the three of us for the past 900 years, no matter how many times I've asked to go on my own and explore what the world had to offer. "How are you dear?"

"I'm great, how are you?" I smiled. Then looked around noticing everyone wasn't here making me frowned. "Where's Edward?"

"You remember what happened when we called you last? With the vampire after Edwards mate?" Esme asked sadly as Carlisle gave me a smile before going to greet Tanya, Kate, Irina, Carmen, and Eleazar.

"Yeah." I nodded confused. "What happened? Is Edward and Bella okay?"

"Yes they're both fine. However, Edward left Bella in Forks, claiming it to be safest for her. He's not taking it so well and needs time."

I nodded and understood.

"Well it's great to have you guys here." I smiled.

"Welcome everyone." Tanya said gaining everyone's attention. "Its been a long time and nice to see you all again. Loren, could you show everyone to their rooms?"

"Of course." I nodded, having everyone follow me up to the house onto the main floor. "Esme, Carlisle. Your room is the room down the left hall, last door on the right. Alice, Jasper, your room is the room down the right hall, last door on the right. And Emmett, Rosalie, your room is upstairs, down the left hall, last door on your left. If anyone needs me my room is down the right hall, and the big door at the end."

With that I left everyone to get settled before heading back to my room and change into different clothes before I go hunting.

When I finished I walked downstairs towards the door.

"Heading out?" Tanya asked.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go hunting real quick." I nodded.

"Okay, be careful." Tanya nodded.

Once out the door I sprinted for the woods and ran down the mountain, following my instincts until I found a mountain lion creeping up on a deer and three of its babies. Looking down I intentionally snapped on a twig making sure to get the mountain lions attention as the three deer's ran after being spooked.

Annoyed that I scared it's food away the mountain lion hissed and lunges for me. I quickly sidestepped, making the lion feline skid and turn around. Before it could react I snapped its neck and bit into its body and drank its blood until there was none left. Once I finished I wiped the dirt off my shorts I decided to stay out in the forest and run. I almost made it to the Canadian Border until I realized it was starting to get dark before heading back.

I entered the house and walked into the living-room where Carmen, Eleazar, Esme, and Carlisle were playing chess, Tanya and Jasper were reading, Alice, Rose, and Kate were talking, and Irina was with Laurent While Emmett sat on the couch glaring at Laurent. I don't blame him, I hate Laurent, he claims he loves Irina but all he is doing is playing games.

"There you are, where were you all day?" Kate frowned as I sat down next to Emmett.

"I went hunting then decided to go for a run." I said, frowning as Laurent eyed me which made me feel really uncomfortable as his red eyes pierced mine. "I lost track of time."

Kate nodded before going back to her conversation with Rose and Alice.

I sighed getting bored and started to walk towards my room. As I walked down the hall where my room was I instantly heard light footsteps behind me. I turned into my room and hid by the other side of the door and pinned the person to my wall, only to let go as Laurent smirked.

"What the hell are you doing in here?!" I hissed.

"Hmm, feisty aren't we?" Laurent provoked.

"That doesn't answer my question."

"Let's just say I find you fascinating." Laurent said about to stroke my cheek, but I slapped his hand away.

"Get the hell out!" I frowned. "Don't make me get my sister."

This made Laurent's face turn to a deadly glare, and before I could do anything he grabbed me by my throat and pinned me to my wall this time. "Let's not day you did, hm?"

"I suggest you let her go and take her advice. Get the hell out." Emmett stated from the door way, crossing his arms as he glared at Laurent.

Laurent chuckled and let me go. Walking up to Emmett.

"You just marked yourself my friend."

"Yeah, I'm so scared." Emmett scoffed, rolling his eyes as Laurent walked out. Once he was gone Emmett turned to me, looking concerned. "Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine." I nodded.

"Is he always like this?" Emmett asked.

I went to sit on my bed with a sigh and nodded. "Yeah he has. And when I tried to tell Irina when he first arrived she got all defensive, claiming that he was her mate and that I should mind my own damn business."

"Well as long as I'm here, he won't be a problem."

"Thanks, Em." I smiled as he pulled me into a hug.

"So, What is there to do here for fun?" Emmett asked.

"Well, it's too late to go anywhere. But I have an Xbox 360 if your up to the challenge?" I smirked.

"Bring it on munchkin! Your so going down!" Emmett smirked back, grabbing the controller I handed him.

"We'll see about that muscle head." I chuckled as we spent the rest of the night playing video games.
