i was watching tv when the news came

"a 19-year old girl named Lee Areum was claimed to be dead at the river near the.......... suspects are Kang Jina and 3 other people which have not been identifed yet. If you are a relative of this poor girl, pls call this contact number real quick and come to this address. Her body has not been found yet but the investigators have been working on it"

my world shattered.

S-she's g-gone..

i just stood there, shocked and didnt realize the tears streaming down my face.

i went to my car and quickly drove to the said place.

when i got there i saw many investigators trying to find her body

but then i saw.. the person i didnt want to see

"This is all your fault! If you havent transferred to our school, none of this would've happend! From the start i knew you were bad news! I shouldnt have trusted you!" i cried

"Jimin i know you also wanted this" she chuckled

"Don't you ever say my name again! I feel disgusted everytime it comes out of your mouth! You'll pay for this!"

"a-alr-ight ch-chill" she said trembling while the police sent her to jail

i just cried my eyes out and couldnt stop thinking of Areum.

Areum im sorry. I know you wont forgive me for what i have done. But i hope you are in a better place now. You can't suffer anymore. Just know that even if you're not in this world anymore, you will still have a place in my heart. I just realized, that you can only appreciate things when they're gone. Im sorry i wasnt able to protect you when you were still alive. And i really was selfish. I never cared for your feelings, i only did what i thought was best for me.
