Canada looked up at Matt, his 2p and smiled. The tears streaming down his face, both of them couldn't exist and they both couldn't be Canada. Even thought they are the same person they are two completely different personalities.
*Matt's pov*
I grabbed Canada's hand, the tears falling. "Canada please stay with me! You can't go"
He smiled up at me, matching my tears. "I'm sorry Matt but its the only way."
'No please there has to be another way' I looked him in the same violet eyes,
"Canada don't leave me."
"Please I want you to live..."
Canada's breath slowed, I pressed my hands to his chest where the blood started forming.
*Canada's pov*
I felt pressure on my chest, my blurred vision showed me Matt trying to stop the blood. Black spots started to dance and cold shivers covered my body. "Matt before I go I want to tell you..." My lungs spasumed and I tasted the metallic blood in my mouth.
*3rd person*
Matt blinked his eyes, pushing back tears. Canada tried speaking but stopped when he coughed up blood. "Canada I don't want to live without you."
"Matt, I love you promise me that you'll stay for me." "No you're going to make it." "It's too late Matt promise me." The tears escaping Matt's eyes landed on Canada's cheek. "I-I promise," he said choking on his words. "Thank you..."
Canada let lose his final breath and shut his eyes. Matt continued crying until America showed up a few hours later. "Matt what happened?" "He-he died for me,"
Matt clinged to Canada's body. America's tears fell as he looked at the man, who loved his brother, break down. Matt looked up at America and finally spoke. "We need a proper burial for Canada."
*3 weeks later*
Matt stood in front of Canada's grave holding a boutique of Blue Flag and White Trillium. "Hey Canada, I brought your favorite flowers. Everything is going good. We held a memorial at the world meeting. Everyone misses you," tears spilled over his Amethyst eyes, "I miss you so much every night I look through the photo albums." Matt set down the flowers and read the stone, 'Matthew Williams, Canada July 1st, 1867-August 10th, 2013' just below that was his favorite quote "Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other peoples sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."
Matt smiled sadly, "I'll be back next week, I love you." As Matt walked away
the wind gently blew the flowers in the air and somewhere in heaven a angel named Canada smiled.
